aminnich Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Hey guys, from my most recent thread, i got thinking. Smaller builds are hard to do, simple because they have to be compact. This thread is for people to share their compact mechanisms. Because of the contest, I need to make sure Jim is ok with this thread. If ur not Jim, just delete it :) thanks guys! Quote
TheNextLegoDesinger Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 sorry but most of the time this kind of toppics start with someone saying something about his design like in this photograph topic http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110840 Quote
D3K Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I made a fairly small and reliable transmission for guiding two axles through a turntable when they are vertically close together Quote
steph77 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Ok, lets go.... Is this what you mean by 'compact design'? Quote
aminnich Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 Whoa, now that is compact. Is it all gearbox, or separate motors? Quote
Technyk32231 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I hope an 8 tooth gear doesn't break in there... Quote
Jim Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 @aminnich I have no clue what this has to do with the contest?! Actually, in light of recent discussions, starting a topic like this is done by sharing your own compact design. Bring something to the table, sort of speak. Care to show us some of your compact designs? Quote
aminnich Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 Ok Jim, I guess it really does not have to do with the contest. I just wasn't sure, so I thought I would mention it. As for my designs I hope to make some and share them in the near future. :) Quote
