I just spent a few minutes reorganizing my display plate again for the new figures next year (leaving space for the presumed eight to appear in the Batcave), and I've run out of CMF stands. I must have about 492 of them, yet my minifig baseplates have consumed them all...there's another reason to buy S15!

There is going to be more than 8 minifigures in the batcave I feel like

I wouldn't count on more than we've already speculated. That leads to disappointment.

Depression leads to suffering.

...anywho, back on topic, I'm declaring the new Flash variant (with added normal legs) to be my Wally West. I did the same with the New 52 Robin as Jason Todd, even though he's supposed to be Dick.

It's common knowledge here (and elsewhere) that Hasbro put their foot down to stop Lego from making the magnets in the unglued form. None of the magnet sets really had minifigures that were detracting from set purchases.

It's tricky because different companies have different licensing agreements. I know some people (myself included) are still hoping when the current Hasbro license expires in 2017 that Disney might be able to renegotiate something for Lego to make CMF Star Wars and Marvel characters.

You say it's common knowledge I say it's just people assuming that's why. Hasbro also has the Marvel action figure rights but Mega Bloks was still able to release individual Marvel minifigs at the same time. As of right now Hasbro, Disney, Mafex, Bandai. 3A, Sideshow, Hot Toys all release Star Wars action figures. So why doesn't Lego release a CMF series of minifigs for Star Wars? Because then these big expensive sets wouldn't sell.

People like to spread their opinion and assumptions as truth.

Buy some long legs to replace them?

I mean, I suppose. I don't really want to take away from what it's meant to be. I don't know how to interpret it either. Are these more cartoony versions of characters? Is it a separate universe where everyone is penguins height? If not how tall is penguin? From the torso up, I find absolutely astounding, however given that the legs are short I feel the need to separate these figures from my others

Penguin's like 4ft 10 or something

Yeah, bring back his duck-mobile for a racer!

Also, I saw a review of the Sky High Battle on YouTube. Digging most of theBatwing and three of the figures. Lex is way too plain though, and the helicopter? Give us a new design for crying out loud! The row of flick-fire missiles is getting old, and the helicopter doesn't stand well against theAtwing. It should've been LexCorp........:cry_sad:

I always watch The Brick Show's reviews, but I might not anymore, I don't like how it's all animated. I used to like them because they went in-depth and talked you through each feature themselves instead of a little slideshow and animations. Where's Stephen anyway? Haven't seen him on there for a while, I like him a bit more than Jason.

I do like the Brick Show reviews, but recently, such as with the Forex, they've just showed things and not much else. Krypton its exception wasn't much of an exception. Try Jangbricks, he's shows all the features in depth, in time, and often gets sets popular Day 1. He has some very good reviews of sets in the past such as the Helicarrier, Batboat Harbor Pursuit, and Jokerland.

Just watched his review of 76045, and he is much better than The Brick Show at the moment. If the Brick Show go back to how they were originally, then I imagine I'll be back there, but for now JangBricks is my new Lego Reviewer

Yeah, I think there's a reason Brickset partnered with him. His reviews are insightful, well-edited, and usually miss nothing in the sets.

So, when are we going to get D2C news? I know it's a couple of moths away, but surely we'd have heard something.

I agree, JANG is the best.

Uhhh, whenever some news guy shares it. If it's in March, maybe we'll get more news in January.

That's what I'm thinking. We shouldn't see leaked minfigures, seeing as it's a D2C, but a press release, or maybe a picture of minifigures from the new character encyclopedia could show up soon? What I'd really like to see is an official reveal on January 12th, the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the show, but I doubt they'd really take that into consideration.

Has anyone seen a decent review of 76044 (£12 set) yet? Would like an in-depth look at the set.

The one I posted above is the only review I've seen for that set.
