Falconfan1414 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I'd really love to see spider girl, but she's not going to happen. I could imagine kids looking at the web warriors set thinking, what's up with all the Spiderman? They might get confused. What about scarlet spider? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 What about scarlet spider? Don't expect him. Quote
strangely Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) I'm a little confused why they're doing Web Warriors. Wasn't that last seasons gimmick? Seems a bit late. Really I don't need any alternate universe Spider-men. Miles Morales was appreciated, but the others I have no interest in. Now I wouldn't mind an updated Spidey variant that actually looks like the Ultimate version (Dark blue). I would prefer Squirrel Girl and Agent Venom, really any of the new warriors over other dimension copies of Spider-man. I'm hoping they do a mix of the show and comics like they've done in the past. It would be nice to get a comic Gwen Stacy in the bridge set. Edited January 7, 2016 by strangely Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 There's two different bridge battles in the Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors Spider-Verse arc. One's between Norma Osborn, Spider-Girl, and Spider-Man in an alternative, gender-swapped universe, while the other is set in the 1920s and between Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, and the television version of Ultimate Green Goblin. I could see them trying to mix those together. What about scarlet spider? He was in one episode of the season and it was Flash Thompson attempting to be like spiderman. Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Don't expect [scarlet Spider]. I am expecting him. But only because I'm pathologically addicted to disappointment. Ben Reilly gets no love. It's hard to believe we got Iron Spider before Reilly. Who exactly was clamoring for that figure? Maybe he showed up in one of the animated series I'm unfamiliar with. Well, seeing as how my only two hopes for this set were Reilly-Spidey and Spidey-2099, any chance you (or someone) can rule 2099 out? Or maybe confirm? Yeah, I'm grasping, sorry. Wotan135 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I think Lego very often use new bricks od brickbuild somethink like Sentinel and groot, batmanbuster and hulkbuster...in this year we are geting black Panther figure with headgear ears the same has white tiger...so very big chance..but after i saw civil War sets and how they ruinted oportunity make this wave amazing they did it only good average... Iron Spider played a significant role in Civil War -- one of the biggest (if not most important) MARVEL crossover event in recent memory, not to mention it's obvious relevance with CA: CW coming out. NXS7 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Anyone believing that the bridge set I'd based off a specific episode, its not. Last year we had Miles Morales vs Carnage with a shield hovercraft and a construction site where Spidey and Iron Spider take on Sandman and the Rhino mech. Both sets have the USM logo but neither are based on the show whatsoever. Same with the 2014 sets. With Season 4 around the corner, there are now more possibilities to these sets than we can think about. Like how Scarlet Spider will be a series regular now. So never rule out anyone to appear. Although Spider Girl, Knight and Noir seem the most unlikely as the other Web Warriors are more popular across the show and comics Quote
Sir Gareth Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Although, Spider Girl, Knight and Noir seem the most unlikely as the other Web Warriors are more popular across the show and comics Actually, Spider-Man Noir is one of the main Web Warriors from the spin-off, comic series. Quote
wesleydoogan Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Spider-man Noir would be amazing. Absolutely love his design... More keen to see what the 4th Civil War and Doctor Strange sets are though than these spidey ones. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 There he is again! Coulson alarm! ;-) Anyway i don't get the hype about him but i do hope the bridge is a great design. Not to many playfeatures that will mess up the esthetics of the bridge. A bridge could be interesting to City collectors too, especially if they can sell those figs and have a much cheaper bridge. Always hoping for Coulson man - always hoping Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Always hoping for Coulson man - always hoping Surely you could make your own? Lego is only going to slap an existing hair, head and torso piece on to some plain black legs and give him some kind of walkie-talkie gun. When was the last time a 'suit' character wasn't astonishingly generic *cough* Lex *cough*? Quote

When was the last time a 'suit' character wasn't astonishingly generic *cough* Lex *cough*? We really don't need to get into this coulson discussion, which we've had 2 or 3 times. Yes, you could make a custom rather easily but many of us don't like making custom figs. He was a major player in the MCU phase 1 and USM so it's strange we haven't gotten him yet. Especially when he became such a fan favorite that he was resurrected from the dead, given his own TV show, and then became a comic character based on his movie appearance. Quote

I think that would definitely up the chances of us getting him although Ghost Rider never appeared, I'm honestly really surprised we're getting him... Totally stoked, but surprised. Quote
wesleydoogan Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I too would love a Daredevil set with Ultimate Spider-man but I don't think he has appeared in the Ultimate Spider-man show... In fact does anyone know if Ghost Rider has actually appeared in the show as I'm not sure he has? Quote
NXS7 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Daredevil hasn't appeared in TV for years. Ghost Rider has appeared in 2 episodes of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH Quote
JaHawk2009 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Daredevil hasn't appeared in TV for years. Ghost Rider has appeared in 2 episodes of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH Technically speaking it could be argued that he has his own TV show currently, but it's too adult for Lego to base anything off. Clone OPatra Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Daredevil has nothing to do with any of our rumors. Neither does Coulson. Please stick to the rumors and put desires and speculation somewhere else. Thanks! Quote

I meant in animated TV. And as much as I'd rather have Netflix Daredevil to comic suit Daredevil, I doubt due to the dark nature Lego would ever make Netflix Defenders sets. Except for a SDCC exclusive Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I just wrote a really long post about Civil War and the Iron Spider suit and...well....none of it mattered. Do we know how many figs are going to be in the Ghost Rider set? Spidey, GR, and a villain of some sort, but does anyone suppose there's room in the price range for a 4th figure? Because that would be the perfect place to include Daredevil! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I've heard the ghost rider set is $30, kind of like the deathstroke set last year. I would expect at most, 3 minifigures. Quote

Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Maybe four if we're lucky (The Hulkbuster Smash did have three and a big-fig after all...) Should we expect a big fig, perhaps, given Ghost Rider has only appeared in Agets of SMASH? Maybe A-bomb? This is pure specualtion, but it just seems odd that they'd market it as USM. And you had a good point about the Hulkbuster set. Quote
