Lord Beckett Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Hello guys, Here are two creations I made recently. I hope you'll like them. The first one is a British/Imperial Guards fort: Here are two other views: A view from the inside: And finally two views from above: The second one is a small soldier outpost: A side view with the opening trapdoor: A back view of the set: And the view from above: Here is the complete gallery if you are interested... Opproperaar Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 (edited) I like both creations but especially the first one :) It seems so cosy :-D and neat ;-) Though I was wondering what the little magnet in the corner of the island is for? Does it have something to do with the crane? Edited August 24, 2007 by Hairy Ruben Quote

Does it have something to do with the crane? Yes, it has to be used with the crane, but I just forgot to remove it when I took the pic... :-D Quote
Asuka Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Very neat indeed, and the size of both MOCs.... just plain lovely! *sweet* Although I prefer the one in the original color scheme, I do think that your black one Quote
SirNadroj Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Those are both very nice. The black one is pretty good, too, but it would also make a good pirate fort. Stick a couple of palm trees in there, a few pirates, and you have an instant fort! ;-) Quote

Stick a couple of palm trees in there, a few pirates, and you have an instant fort! ;-) Well, the modifications are quite easy to perform... I can change the flag and the minifigs, and that's all. first thought of making a pirate outpost but I thought many of you preferred to see a soldier fort... :-P For the palm tree, the set includes one but I just removed it so that it doesn't hide anything... *sweet* Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted August 24, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted August 24, 2007 (edited) The first one is my favorite of the 2 fortresses. Nice color combinations. The same as the Eldorado fortress but you added red to the color scheme. The second one is not bad, but I'm not a big fan of those black walls. Edited August 24, 2007 by Bonaparte Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 (edited) Nice job on both forts *y*! The only thing I would nit-pick about is the magnet, it seems a little spacey to me. Edited August 25, 2007 by ZeekyBoogeyDoog Quote
El Bucanero Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Very good Lord Beckett! I especially like the first one. It has a real LEGO set feel. This is how the outpostes should look if LEGO rereleases pirates again. Great! The second is also nice, although the colour scheme doesn't really appeal to me with the blue coats. Perhaps more something you'd give to pirates. But it's certainly nice! Mr Tiber Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 25, 2007 Governor Posted August 25, 2007 Its like you bred the Imperial Trading Post with Cannon Cove X-D Quote
Norro Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Your first MOC would have made a fine upper-mid range lego set! Good work! And tell your avatar to stop giving me the finger ;-) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Sir Norman Ray Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 (edited) I like these two a lot to be honest, this was grand work :) Though the second has the typical LEGO "Where do they sleep/eat" question :-P Edited August 25, 2007 by Sir Norman Ray Quote
zouave Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Of the two, I like the first one the best. It looks like a real set. The dock going around it is superb. The cannon building on the outpost looks great. I like those hinged windows. Quote

God Bless, Nathan Good point Norro This would have made a great lego set indeed! *y* Added these two forts into the Land Based MOC Index. Good work Lord Beckett P Quote
