Jacob Nion Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 A highly effective way of hunting elves is to use Nocturnian forest spiders. The trick is to pick the elves up before the spider gets hungry. Quote
mrcp6d Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Blatantly ripping off the Hobbit , but another solid MOC Jacob! That spider is way better than the TLG ones in the Mirkwood set. Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Great shaping on that spider! Also really like the inclusion of the light grey ruins, the add a bit of brightness to the build while at the same time keeping it somber! Quote
Garmadon Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Ha, ha, great spider and tree JN, the mushrooms and landscape are very nice as well! Quote
Blufiji Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 You work with creature builds is really something to behold. Great job! Quote
Balbo Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Great! I love the base and the techniques you used for the spiders Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Great build as always, Jacob especially the spider Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Wait - where have I seen this before? Oh, yeah, I remember - on the shelves of TRU... Seriously, this is a well-built scene. The tree, rocks, mushrooms and well-textured base create a very moody and mysterious setting within the context of the build. The spider looks great and the concept works even if it's not original. Robin Creations Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Nice, the ruins are a nice touch, although I think the base is a little too square Edited May 29, 2015 by Robin Creations Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Very cool build, I like the SNOT base design, and the tree works nicely Quote
