yellost Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I was wondering if there existed some kind of archives with pictures of sets in their early development... Because I've noticed it often happens that in a review someone rants that something was done better in the prototype or the other way around but I've never managed to see any (or only a very few)... And of course, by the time I read about it, the set is out or already definite... (The motorised AT-AT is probably the only one I've seen in its before and after stages) After all there're lots of sites that archaive the different sets and parts and everything, so why not the prototypes... Does anyone know anything about such a thing ? (I like those kind of weird sounding sentences :-P ) Quote

Siegfried Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 This thread contains many prototype pics:http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...33&hl=Prototype Wow! I have been looking for some of those pictures for ages! I spent over an hour one time doing google searches and found little. If I just went to EB I would have saved a lot of time.... :-$ Quote
yellost Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 awesome! Thanks a lot! Now I get why some people cry over the greatness of some prototypes... Look at that graveyard... Though I do love the actual one too (only HP set I've bought...) Quote
Asuka Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Hmm.... perhaps it would be nice to have a pinned place in the LEGO News & General Discussion forum for all those prototype pics, or even that whole topic? 8-| Quote
