Existing Castle parts in new colours wishlist

(There's a similar thread in the embassy, but I was wondering about people's thoughts for the Castle specific elements.)

For the next, or any future iterations of the Castle theme, are there any CURRENTLY/RECENTLY EXISTING parts you would like to see in newer colours? Or perhaps a rare colour that you'd like more widespread? By new colour I mean an existing TLG colour that hasn't yet been used for that element.

Obviously discontinued colours & moulds don't count, so forget about an old dark grey horse in the old style.

For starters, the current horse is available in black, white & brown. It would be nice to see the horse in other colours too: perhaps dark brown, medium dark flesh, tan, dark tan, grey or dark grey. Anyone else agree?

Other elements might include armour, helmets, horse accessories, flags, plumes, castle wall/facet/turret bricks, arches, dragon parts, weapons, leaves etc.

So what do you think? I'd really like to see flags and plumes in some new colours, particularly oranges, dark purple and browns, maybe olive.

There are custom parts and colours around, but for those wanting to stay purist some new colours would be great for creating new army factions. Red & blue gets a bit dull after a few iterations...

Rare color: Purple. I want a whole faction of purple knights! (and by that, I don't mean the KKII guys ).

I'd like to see the newer wall panels used in the 2010 and 2013 King's Castles in black and a black/yellow Tudor pattern.

Also, the new king's crown mold (used in the S13 King) with other various hair colors.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Yep. I'm putting together an army with dark purple as the red/blue replacement. To go with the CMFs that came out recently, so the jester & princess fit in with them.

I'd like to get the plume pictured above in dark red and medium azure. I'd also like the regular flags in dark red where it bends the same way as most other flags.

I'd like this part in dark blue:

And in general, I'd really, really like if upcoming castles and castle-ish structures could be a different colour than grey for a change - like black, white, tan, dark tan, etc.

There is something I did in LDD; the long spear as a giant candle, white with a bright orange tip.

I'd also like to see the oval shield in pearl colors, with or without printing.

Redoing the Tudor panelling would be great, but I would prefer red and black or yellow and dark brown. Corners as well. Those more than the flat panels are what made the design work.

Tudor panels! How awesome do they look? These days we would probably just get stickers.

Thanks for reminding me about the toblerone triple slope, I'd like that in many different accent colours.

Ugh, those flags bending in opposite ways is so annoying, it doesn't look good when they're mismatched, and Bricklink doesn't differentiate. And the black castle from 1988 was a nice change, I agree that not-grey would be very welcome!

I'm pretty sure we'll see that headpiece again. If we get a recolor, I'd say white hair is the most likely.
