Deep in the heart of Anvilon, sits the most prestigious castle Jakorin's home has to offer: Castle Stagdren. It is here that Jakorin Swiftsword, Lord of Anvilon, and all his nobles and knights reside.

Surrounded by thick, dense foliage, and built with solid, Avalonian stone, a siege would be no simple task.

Thanks for looking! This castle was a bit of a pain, being as big as it was. But in the end, it was so worth it. It now stands as the biggest project I've ever done. Remember, C and C is always appreciated! Enjoy! :sweet:

I honestly have no criticisms of this beautiful castle. I like the irregular base and how clean it looks. The walls have enough variation in them to look good but not too busy. Great job!

A very nice and sturdy looking castle! The rounded base also looks great. A dash of color, maybe in the shape of a few flags, would have been nice on the top of the castle though!

Very nice castle Jakorin, I really like the shape of the wall and the foliage! I do think (as the others) that a little more color would help, but it is certainly an excellent build!:thumbup:

This is another good example of a castle built with conventional methods that just looks great. The walls look massive and while they are simple of design, there's enough variety to give them a decent texture. The base and vegetation look good, too, and I don't mind the lack of color one bit. A flag or two wouldn't really add much color anyway. As it is, it looks imposing from the outside - which is what you want, right? Excellent composition and keep on building!

Wow! Those walls are great; even though they are pretty simple, they look wonderful. And that base is amazing! Although I do agree with the others, some color would be nice. Maybe some dark bley :classic:

I like the colour. It is intentional with other elements to break it up. Looks very impenetrable.

Wow, thanks!

Amazing work, Jacob! By far your best. I love the subtle textures and irregular base. Keep it up, buddy!

Thanks Graham!

Thanks! I agree, some flags would have spiced it up a bit.

Excellent work, Jakorin! The layout and texturing are superb as is the base

I do agree with Kai about some more color though :classic:

Thanks!

Excellent! The stonework is really superb!

Thank you! Glad you like it!

Thank you Garmadon!

Like I said on Flickr, intentional or not, I like the juxtaposition of the circular base against the squarish castle.

Thanks! It was indeed intentional. :)

Yes, of course. Imposing was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Thanks Robin! I had it in mind to add some dark grey, but I just never got around to it.

Great contrast with the folliage Jakorin.. A great moc. Regarding CC I would add some doors for the soldiers at 1st floor.

Thanks Gunman!

The rounded base really puts the whoulebuild on a higher level. The castle itself is nice looking. Maybe some wooden structures or a tower would be a good addition. But it definitely can stand its ground!

Fantastic work! I love how you made the wall and the base

Thanks a lot!

Great build! The castle is nice and solid, and I like the base!

Thank you!

Great build! Now how'd Jakorin get back from Kaliphin so fast?

The build was set before the Kaliphlin civil war.

Beautiful as always Jakorin, awesome to finally see the castle of the great Swift-Swords! Really love the clean design here, and especially that brilliant base. The arrow slits look good too. I agree a few flags would add some nice color. Otherwise, this is perfect!
