Ragnar Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) After the release of the Simpsons house and the first Simpsons-Minifigure-Series last year, I thought that it would be cool to have some Futurama-themed LEGO sets/figures as well. So I designed a Bender-Minifigure. I had to adjust some of the parts to fit the LEGO-pieces (like lifting the foot-pieces, upscale the hands and fingers, etc.). Most parts are ment to be made out of "normal" plastic (ABS). The legs, arms, fingers and the antenna should be made out of semi-hard rubber (like some of the tooth/horn pieces). fred67 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That's fantastic... I'd prefer a Futurama CMF wave over another Simpsons one (not that I don't like the Simpsons). This Bender is PERFECT size and shape for a LEGO Minifigure... very cool, Ragnar. Quote
Balthazar Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 The best Bender minifigure I have ever seen. Great job! Quote
___ Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Seems like I do not understand something: is it a model made in LDD or MLCAD or...? Quote
Ragnar Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Neither of these programs. I used "Rhino 3D" to model this minifigure. I'm planning to do a whole "16 Minifigures Series" of Futurama characters. Thanks for the compliments Quote
