Nazgarot Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) I have two of this part, a flexible 26 L axle. It seems quite useful, but hard to find a actual use for it... I have used it in two mocs. The first was a huge failure. In the second, the Linde inspired 3 ton forklift, it was used to make the steering wheel turn with the rear wheels. It would have been very useful if we could get it in other lengths, but as it was a part of the Flex lineup there is no hope it would happen... -ED- Edited July 10, 2015 by Nazgarot Quote

The flexible shaft is useful in low torque applications, but it will be quickly destroyed by anything else. It is a ZNAP part. Quote
DrJB Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 The flexible shaft is useful in low torque applications, but it will be quickly destroyed by anything else. It is a ZNAP part. Agreed. I've had few flex springs 'unscrew' out of the white axles. The fix I found was to use them in situations that spin only in ONE direction. Though. that tends to be difficult to do. Quote
nychase Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I've got over 120 black 40tooth gears. and 300 red pistons I also have 40 of the wheels from the 8458/8461 because Luca always uses them for the rear wheels on his F1 cars. I'm sure loads of other stuff I can't remember at the moment. These photos are from 2 years ago so things have changed quite a bit since then. Oh yeah, 34 of the 5571/5563 wheels. Quote

vliet Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) I got some 40 tooth gears and only 1 red piston Edited July 12, 2015 by vliet Quote
Kumbbl Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Rarest parts I own are 19L flex axles in black. Kind of scared to use them because they're worth so much Me too. Own 2 of them... In Addition about 40 red #3 connectors, 12 power puller wheels, some rare red flex axle length... 10 pneumatic cylinder brackets (but probably these will get cheaper cause of the new longer cylinders coming this summer) Ah, what i forgot: 2 complete 5571 Black cat sets and so all included rare parts e.g. 12 of these Ultra rare expensive wheels+rims... Lipko Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I only have some Bionicle parts, but I guess they aren't relly rare because I only find tons of the among used parts. Quote
allanp Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I have 4 of these in black from an early 8880. Quote
bonox Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 who's the chap around here with 50 new micromotors? That might count as some kind of record. Quote
Lipko Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Hmm, I also have 4 micromotors from I don't know where, I got it in a lot when i a kid. I don't have any adapters or whatever for those though, so I never used them in Technic builds. Do you think I could sell them even without the adapters? Quote

SImple to sell a replacement motor without the supports to people who want to get their shuttle working again. Even broken motors still command reasonable prices on BL (5 euro or more), if you just want something to sit and look like it's supposed to be there but is actually a small paperweight. Quote
Richard Dower Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 I bought part #32557 in some rare colours such as white, blue, yellow and DBG. Quote
Rishab N Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I just got 24 #3 red connectors for 6 dollars. Not bad I'd say. That makes my total 32 and I'm not sure what to do with them Quote

Rishab N Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 My Audi would swallow some of them I would love to build it, but the prices of red flex axles and toggle joints are ridiculous Quote
