Asphalt Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Vindsval considers the offer, if ever only so briefly then shakes his head. No that would not do to allow such things. He then gestures to his small fierce friend. "It would seem we stand as one. Though some speak more bluntly than others, we cannot let you pass into this town and harm these people further." Quote
Zepher Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Bobby shrugs sadly. "Yeah, you know, dude, we can fight if you want to fight, know what I mean. I don't dig it, but we can't have you messing with these dudes, yo. They're just trying to live life." Quote

Your men have come here only claiming to set up a welcoming committee. Needless to say most of my friends here would appreciate being treated better than common servants." Annienal asks Cole in a diplomatic and calm matter, holding her hand above her eyes to block out the sun. The figure's voice seemed to soften slightly. "What I wish to reclaim is impossible, and it is only mere hours - no, perhaps merely minutes, even - before it becomes even more so." The figure's tone became irratic, wildly rising and falling. "I can hear them even now, scraping, scraping, scratching, always scraping! A curse upon dwarves, on all dwarves! Will their desire for glittering objects NEVER be sated!" He paused, and seemed to breathe. "I come to take this last scraping of gold, before I must leave for parts I know not where. It is mine by history, though none would recognize the claim. It also belongs in some part to my lieutenant, whom I sent here - and, I presume sadly, from the corpse of the cave-hanger, will never leave here. I wished merely to take the gold shipment - small, pitifully small as it is - with some part of the dignity a true owner should, and thus, earlier I sent my men into the settlement that I might ride in later in some manner besides that of the outlaw, as I take the sliver of my portion that the world allows. AHHHH!" He clutched at his head, and rolled wildly about in his saddle. "They scrape away, always scraping! The wound in the earth is like a wound in my head! Too...too near...too, too near..." Quote

"Ahh!...It will not make me whole...Ahh!...That is a pit that none of you have the power to fill...Ahh!... Kintobor Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 OOC: I got questions pertaining to the enemies because I'm a curious kitten. The Foe: Lucustoid Healer *Immune to Earth* Type: Humanoid/Beast Level: 15 Health: 150/150 Cut down to 150 Passive Special: If It Tastes This Bitter, it Must be Bad/Good - Every round, the Healer will cover a knife with random tribal medicine, and throw it at a randomly selected Hero, dealing the effect either by 1, or for the next round. Lucustoid Warrior *Immune to Earth* Type: Humanoid/Beast Level: ? Health: 150/150 Passive Special: You look about My Size - Enemy's level matches Hero's. Special: Wings - Attacks the hero, and flaps wildly in their face, dealing Wind-elemental damage, with a 1/6 chance of forcing the Hero to target them until they are KO'd. Lucustoid Axe: WP:6, Locustoid Greaves(+4 Ether, immune to Earth Class, equippable by all Ether-based classes), 50 gold Horse A Type: Beast Level: 1 Health: 5/5 Passive Special: Flying Hooves - Delivers an extra Free Hit Special: Flying Hooves - Delivers an extra Free Hit Drops: Raw Horsehide(Worth 10 Gold, or can be worn by Barbarian classes for SP:1) First of all, what does the Locustoid Healer's "Cut Down to 150" mean? For the Locustiod Warrior, what's the power of it's attack? The heroes level? Also, the 1/6 chance to only attack the enemy, is that referring to the Locustoid Warrior? Sorry, I'm just a little confused. With the Horses, does the extra free hit stack, or if a special is rolled does it only deliver one extra free hit? I'm going to assume the extra free hit is automatic, and cannot be blocked by targeting the horses twice? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) First of all, what does the Locustoid Healer's "Cut Down to 150" mean? QM Note: Oops. WBD was nice enough to take a look at the battle before it was posted - that was a suggestion he made as to how much health the Healer should have. For the Locustiod Warrior, what's the power of it's attack? The heroes level? QM Note: Yes(rounded down). For example, Annie is 12.5, so the Warrior would attack her with a strength of 12. Also, the 1/6 chance to only attack the enemy, is that referring to the Locustoid Warrior? Sorry, I'm just a little confused. QM Note: If you roll a special, and the 1/6 roll comes up on the 1, you will only be able to attack the Warrior until the Warrior is KO'd.With the Horses, does the extra free hit stack, or if a special is rolled does it only deliver one extra free hit? QM Note: If a horse isn't targeted, it will deliver 2 Free Hits, one from the Passive Special, and 1 from being an untargeted enemy. If the horse is targeted, it only delivers 1 Free Hit, from the Passive Special(Although, with only 5 health, I doubt it'll live long enough to make the Free Hit.), except in the case that Special Damage is rolled, in which case the horse will make 2 Free Hits, one from the Passive Special, and one from the Special. The Chosen Minifigure Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Warlen grins as the horses collapse and the enemies had to clamber off them. As they were distracted, Warlen cast sleep on the Locustoid healer. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 QM Note: Damage from Free Hits is halved, correct? OOC: Yup. If I was in the front it would be full damage, but since I'm in the back it's halved. Annienal blocks the rogues attack with her shield, taking a moment to catch her breath. She notices Miderun bleeding. "We need Miderun back up! I'm not the best person to do so, since I really should be focusing on our enemies!" Quote
