Architecture: The Lovell Health House

Just thought i'd share my latest Architecture build, in case anyone in here would find it interesting. It's a scale model on Richard Neutras Lovell Health House, a modernist piece from the late 20's, based in California. A house which was also featured in the movie L.A Confidential

Pretty colorful for an Architecture set, and the foliage seems to cover some bits of the building somewhat, but I love it! There's loads of neat building techniques, and the car park is a nice touch. And the color... it's a bit distracting, sure, but they give a vibrant feel.

Yes the model overflows with colors, but this is what i aimed for. I tried to be as accurate to the nature surrounding the house, as possible. I did not have the intention to make a toned down architecture model, plus i was curious :)

Unfortunately, like so many other models, this has to be seen in real life i guess. There are many details which hasn't been revealed in these pictures, and which are too hard to photograph!! I did not think of this while making the model ;)
