stebai Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Unbelievably I too had been working on making a true 70's/80's Modular Arcade. The Sega Arcade machines in another thread kind of made me want to get these up too. The artwork was very difficult to find in some cases (I actually had to almost start from scratch with Op Wolf!). Anyway here they are as of today. GAUNTLET & OPERATION WOLF MISSILE COMMAND & PAC-MAN GALAXIANS & GALAGA SPACE INVADERS & DONKEY KONG (Space Invader machine looks much better than the photo - the stickers are shiny and just caught the light poorly - I'll try again later when I have more time!) POLE POSITION I am working currently on the Star Wars arcade machine (Booth) & Sub Hunter. Probably the last two before I start the building itself. Please excuse the poor photo's the machines are quite tiny and my camera is not much chop with macro images. Cheers for looking - p.s. I love the Sega Machines too - though they were after my time Edited March 10, 2015 by stebai Quote

gazumpty Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Nice work...you have also really captured the feel and look of these classic machines. I can't wait to see the building! Quote
Poisso3 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Holy snap and click, those are amazing! Can't wait to see more. Quote
craiggrannell Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 It’s nice to see people being a bit more imaginative with retro fare. Mostly these days, you just see people turning sprites into 2D Lego flatness. These arcade machines (and the set on the other thread) are great. Mind you, the one I'd really like a parts/instructions list for is Arvo’s Bubble Buster. Quote
