[MOD] rear viewport, 9492 TIE Fighter

Hi all

I did this mod quite a while back and meant to post it but somehow forgot. After recently having seen images of the new UCS TIE Fighter (which does have the rear viewport) I remembered about this mod of mine.

It's nothing special and the model loses even more of it's "roundness" (what little there was to start with) but I was quite happy with it. I tried to use most of the parts in the set but the use of some extra parts was inevitable.

If anybody wants to build it, it's a bit wobbly at the start but it's as stable as it was before once it's finished.

Here's an LDCad render (sorry, I didn't take any pictures when I had built it) and I've attached an .ldr of the complete cockpit build.

Your Mod looks pretty good! I think it would look nicer if it was up a bit higher, however.
