Captain Flint Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Eric and Ira are leaving Moruth swamplands and traveling to Avalonia. Their journey leads them first to the north to Mitgardia and currently are visiting Emald in Whonntvor in Malakaris swamp. Emald is a miller which produces flour in very difficult conditions. He needs their help and asks them if they can take a small packet of cereal seeds to his friend Huzgar, which is a mage and live in the Rakath mountains. Huzgar desperately needs these seeds and will reward them for their efforts. He says that he wanted to visit him, but it is old and does not feel healthy and possible for such a long journey. Emald greatly appreciates their help and thank them with a pack of flour. Eric and Ira accept his request, thank him for pleasant rest and continue their journey. I was afraid to build round towers only because of the roof. They never looked good enough. However, here I even like it. Quote
Spader Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Very nice! The detailing is impressive! Quote
LittleJohn Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Incredible work! The roof and waterwheel are excellent, as well as the windows Great mushrooms with the, horns and friends flowers too Quote
Raymond James Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Impressive work! The detailing is very realistic, especially those vines. I think the roof of the round-tower is splendid, This is terrific work! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Beautiful stonework! Great waterwheel and crops too! Quote
Kai NRG Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Nice work, I really like your landscaping and the stonework is excellent! I'm only wondering how a waterwheel in a swamp is really going to produce that much energy... Quote
Brick Man Studios Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Nice build ! Love the floor Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Very impressive! Excellent on all those details (I love the swamp bubbles...) Quote
Robin Creations Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Great work! I like how the roof turned out and I always love those droid arm vines Quote
MassEditor Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Excellent build Captain Flint, I'm really enjoying these lovely architectural builds by you! Great atmosphere and Nocty vibe in this build. The rounded section is very well done, as are the roofs and landscaping. Excellent work! Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 The textures here is great! I really like the little patch of garden. I also chuckled at the story, it seems that Historica works like most RPGs: try to travel somewhere and get distracted by a bajillion little quests. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 One of my favorites from you The exposed studs in the stone work look great here, as do the vines peeping out You did an amazing job implementing the round tower and roof Quote
Simon_S Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Good build! I like the brown spiky plants looking out of the walls and the vines climbing on the walls are also nice. The carrot tops give a nice colour contrast in the build! Quote
Jorrith Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Wow, this is pretty awesome! Love the brickwork, and the scene is so detailed! Quote
Garmadon Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Excellent build, Captain Flint, great work with the walls and the landscaping I was kind of thinking the same thing as Kai about the waterwheel, though Quote
SarahJoy Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I love your wall technique, and those brown vines are clever and nicely done! You've done a great job capturing the overall grossness of a swamp. Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 This is another project that I first saw as a lurker. The entire design is richly detailed and I especially like the round tower. The texture of the rock walls is impressive and both sections of the black roof look great. The various details on the base and the climbing vines are nice. I also wonder about the waterwheel - I understand the concept but I've always questioned the effectiveness of the design unless there is a large volume of water moving at a high rate. But that's a minor gripe and the overall build is excellent. Quote
Adair Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Wow, love that texturing! The roofs also look good, despite the gaps in the rounded one (I'm terrible at those). I'm not quite sure about the dark red around the base of the rounded tower, but other then that, the whole build is fantastic! Quote
