Sir Norman Ray Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 You're British sir! The British are famed for making do with whatever they have available! Have you ever played chess with a ketchup bottle, shells and bottles? WELL I HAVEN'T! COS I CANT PLAY CHESS! Ahhh, I see, I never had those sets, hence why I never saw them before! Nice use of them! Lord Beckett Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Nice army, Sir Nadroj, very nice indeed. Cool edits. Just make sure those little villains get shaved, we don't like this in the East Indian Trading Company... Quote
Capn Frank Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 The H.M.S. Broadside hasen't delivered their razors yet! :-D ... SirNadroj, if you need some help on how to use your new razors when you get them, check out the Facelifts Thread in the Custom Pirates forum. ;-) P Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 5, 2007 Governor Posted August 5, 2007 Sir Nadroj's might Imperial Army expands! How many new soldiers did you add to your collection with this latest deployment which arrived yesterday [as in yesterday when you created this thread]? Quote
SirNadroj Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 I created this thread a few weeks ago actually. I stared with 21 men. I posted a picture of the expansion yesterday, which was 2 admirals. If I expand anymore, it would be with admirals, since I love those admiral/governor torsos and hats! X-D Here is a picture of my troops in battle. :-D They journeyed to World's end to save one of the troops, but the mission was a faliure when they came face to face with one of the huge creatures lurking there (who had eaten their lost troop). :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 6, 2007 Governor Posted August 6, 2007 I was about to ask what happened to the parrot and then your latest picture loaded... AWESOME!!! Quote
Sir Norman Ray Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Giant parrots hey? Send a messenger to the Engineers, tell them I need cannons. Lots of Cannons. (Luckily, I seem to have a large artillery battery anyway :-P) I like the edit there, made me laugh a lot. Although, I dont agree with your update plans of pure admirals though. May get a bit complicated on the battlefield with 15 officers ordering 21 men :-P Quote
Lord Beckett Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Air attack!!! Shoot to kill, aim at the eyes!!! Hello Polly!! Pooooooolly? Polly parrot, wake up!!! Pollyyyy... Now that's what I call a dead parrot. Quote
SirNadroj Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 (edited) Thanks all! :) She is so funny, she sould pick up the lego soldier, then try to run off with it! Then she went up on the other troopers and walked on them like stepping stones. :-D EDIT: Here's an updated pic with shadows, and better contrast. Edited August 6, 2007 by SirNadroj Quote
El Bucanero Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Gaah it's a bluecoat eating giant parrot! Run for ya lives! *sing* Well, the pictures do work for me now :-D Don't know what's wrong, even my own signature didn't work for me yesterday. Back to the army. I think It' a great start! You have a lot of plumes.. But I like your commanders. They're not the standard commander with the yellow shoulder pads and broadside face. I think this is better. Good luck expanding your army! Mr Tiber Quote
Lord Beckett Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Ageed. White shoulder pads work very well. I've used one also for one of my officers since I got the Egyptian Temple from the Adventurers line and I'm quite pleased with this new look. It contrasts with the yellow of the face whereas it was not the case with the yellow pads. Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Hello Polly!! Pooooooolly? Polly parrot, wake up!!! Pollyyyy... Now that's what I call a dead parrot.Ah, its not dead, its restin'!This picture really cracked me up :-D Quote
zouave Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I thought of a story for the bird eating the soldier. A soldier lost his plume. He knew he'd be in trouble without it so he decided to get from the giant parrot. As he plucked the feather the grabbed him. Sir Nadroj ,the commander, in his drunken state noticed one of troops was missing. He sent out an immediate attack. The men found the bird and charged. Quote

SirNadroj Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 Very cool picture, lego army's only weakness - The Wild life and nature. Yeah, really! :-D Well, I'm probably not going to expand on my army, since I don't have anywhere to put them. If I ever did, I would build an army of the guards, even though my preferance is the soldiers. But that probably won't even happen. X-D Quote
