I wanted more crims, dogs, policemen, the pre-fab chopper parts, another bike, etc. I even wanted the big chunky base. In short, I wanted it mainly for the parts. However, design wise I still like it, the only thing that I don't like is the chopper platform as I think it is silly and fragile. IMHO I think the new one will not have a big base and probably not be as <insert that tiresome argument>, and when you factor that in with the price it could be big. Look at the design of the new Train Station; I wouldn't be surprised if the new Police station will be as nice looking as that. In short; if you think the design of the new fire and train station are much better than the hospital and current police station I recomend you wait. But don't blame me if it priced that high because it has something silly like sound effects! Maybe you should wait. I can't see it vanishing altogether in a hurry. I keep hereing from people that they feel that the current police station is too "<insert that tiresome argument>". I really dont get it. while i don't have one myself, it looks like it has a very nice design with some cool features. I personally think its the best poilce station we've had yet. Then, my local Target decided to have 20% off Lego and the current Police Station was on sale, so I put it on lay-by and figured my dilemma had been sorted out! :-) It's going to be hard to keep it in the box though; I'm waiting to see what the new one looks like. If I like the new one, then the current on is going to eBay! Either way, I reckon I've had a win and the Mrs doesn't mind as well, which I reckon is half the battle won! :-D Quote

Hmm, I'm thinking that I might get the set, and not wait for the 2008 one, because I'll also be getting some road pieces. Besides; Hawkston will be overrun by baddies if I don't. I might get the 2008 set aswell, and redesign the police station, mixing the two sets, thus making a mega police station! Muhahahahahahaha! Bah, I'm too mad :-D - Poomie Quote
