I tried and tried to find a way to completely enclose the Mummy in the set, but I had to remove the sarcophagus lid and replace it with a simple flat door. I don't love it, but it does hide the minifigure completely.

UPDATE:

It does appear "Scooby Doo: Knight Time Terror" has only appeared throughout the UK and Canada. While evidence of it has surfaced online, I am guessing that WB/TLC plan to release this to the USA on a DVD or Bluray format only. There are still the other movies mentioned in the press release on TLC's web site so hopefully this surfaces in the USA.

I finally got around to watching it and honestly I'm hoping we see more of these specials. I actually found the quality of this special to be a bit higher than a lot of the other specials we've gotten lately. The environments were brick built (For the most part) and the writing was just about on par with an actual Scooby episode (Not as many jokes I don't think).

Hopefully this does actually come to blu-ray, an exclusive minifigure would be nice too. I have no idea what an exclusive for this would look like as there weren't really any new monsters in it and the new characters featured were kind of bland. I guess they could always include someone who didn't appear in the special (Charlie the robot was in Dimensions, I could see them including him).

I could definitely see them doing more of these. Perhaps our mysterious Mr. Brown is in a future special. After all they based this special around the mystery mansion and only included the monsters contained within (With different civilian identities of course). And the original press release for the theme did talk about multiple DTV, so perhaps the sets were planned to tie in with whatever DTV content they have planned.

While not directly related to Scooby Doo, it is a monster-related special offer in the style of "A Nightmare Before Christmas" in that it mixes Halloween with Christmas.

2016 Lego Calendar features the Zombie Chef on the cover and will be a December store exclusive (not online) - http://stores.lego.com/en-us/stores/us/news/calendar--gwp?shareurl=http%3a%2f%2fstores.lego.com%2fen-us%2fstores%2fus%2forlando%3fid%3d0B08C1AE-C525-4D4F-8C2C-A38817DBB744

Shame to see the theme go. Its not like a movie which has only limited screening time to sell sets; Scooby Doo is on air all the time. I cant even buy the reason that once you have the gang, there is no incentive to buy more - there is at least one alternate clothing option for each character, not counting disguises. And more monsters than you can count. AND plenty of vehiclesthat have been used in the episodes too: glass-bottom boat, hang glider, snowmobile, water scooter, etc. These could all be made in the Mystery Machine colors, if thats what the design team decided. And finally, if the theme was relevant this halloween, surely it wuld be relevant every halloween?

It could always come back. If sales were decent then there's a decent chance Lego will run another wave sometime in the future, there is after all a theatrical movie coming in 2018.

Realistically I feel like this is a theme best suited to appearing on alternating years. While I feel there is more they can do with it I also feel it has the ability to get oversaturated quickly do to the repetitive nature of the source material. So perhaps having a bit of time between waves could be ideal for sales.

yeah plus I completely do not mind having buckets of shaggys and scoobys, because there just such great figures. i already have two of each and am getting more soon. if i get lots i could have one for each expression

Why does everyone think the theme is dead? We haven't even gotten many of the Summer 2016 set lists for other themes yet.

While I agree we shouldn't rule this theme out, I can see why people would think it is "dead".

I mean the first wave had all the main characters and all the memorable monsters/ bad guys. It had the iconic Mystery Machine while also having many iconic Scooby-Doo locations. And I know of late the cartoons have had those planes and boats and whatever else with the same pattern as the Mystery Machine and so the other vehicles in the first wave were technically not anything made up just for the sake of sets. Though, looking in the future, I think its a matter of how much more vague can this line go without crossing into TMNT territory where each set becomes somewhat dull and unimportant. Like TMNT the first wave started off amazing, although all the main parts were covered. They wouldn't give us the same location more than once without there being a significant gap in the release of the sets while also not giving us another Mystery Machine or another less than magnificent vehicle. And even if the second set line-up for Scooby-Doo ends up alright, it wouldn't rival the first and again in the long run, it just wouldn't hold up.

EDIT: I just realised everything i said has already been said, which kinda sucks after typing that out but hey, great minds think alike i guess.

It would be nice to keep it to keep alive other 'dead' themes. They could do a Haunted Castle, to cross over with castle fans since that theme is going away for Nexo Knights. Likewise, a Haunted Pirate Ship would be great for pirate fans since that theme is gone. Both those things have been featured in prominent Scooby Doo episodes. Also, alien spaceship, Haunted Old West Ghost Town, haunted tropical island Tiki Huts, etc. Lots of crossover theme appeal that is going untapped here!

Are you hinting something to us? About this time last year the Scooby Doo theme became a rumor and then was finally revealed in January.

Lego could still make some scooby-doo locations with the bad guys. The problem is, what now for the mystery gang?

New members: Scrappy, Flim Flam, Victor Van Ghoul, Scooby Dum, Scooby Dee, Thorn, Dusk, Luna or new outfits such as Daphne's jumpsuit, Shaggy's red and blue combo or the gang in scuba gear or wacky outfits

They have many roads to go down, no problems here.

I don't think this theme will continue. We've heard that they have no plans to keep it going.

When the Jetsons and Flintstones easter eggs were revealed in Dimensions, I got my hopes up that we'd see an annual Hanna-Barbera summer wave, each one based on a different show. I think Just2Good shot that down pretty quickly, but I still want to hold out a little hope!

Ive been thinking of a Scooby level pack all the time.

Since Dimensions was first of all tested on the American and Danish market ( an LEGO employee said this on Danish television ), i think the developers is looking into what future packs would benefit the brand most and sell the most.

I surely hope that a Scooby Doo level pack will arrive in wave 6-10.

While I did hope for this theme to carry on for at least one more wave, I'm not too upset if it doesn't, the minifigures we got are all so great, I originally thought I'd keep only one of the scooby and shaggy minifigs, but ended up having to collect them all for each expression, together with the monsters Mystery Machine they are one of my favourite recent themes to collect, but I wouldn't say no to a few more monsters if dimensions wants to oblige ;o)

I started building the Mystery Mansion on Sunday, until I got to bag 6 and there were two identical small bags inside, the one with the vampire. So of course one of those should've been different. At first the support person was saying I'd have to inventory all the missing parts, but luckily they were able to send out replacement for both small bags. I was able to pretty much finish the build with parts I had, except for the clock numbers. I'll have three vampires ultimately (minus the hair and cape) and some other spares, so eventually it'll be a net positive.

UPDATES:

It has been confirmed that, here in the United States, LEGO SCOOBY DOO: Knight Time Terror did premiere on Cartoon Network on November 25, 2015 and again on November 28. You can find 6 short clips from this special on LEGO's Scooby Doo website, although 2 seemed to not be working for me.

Here is the official trailer:

The Mystery Mansion from the Knight Time Terror episode is amazing and would make a great build! Hoping to be able to plan it out in LDD and get the pieces to build it!

Oh and it's a pretty cool little episode as well!
