J.V.D. Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Without any doubt, the sets of the GotG sub-theme. Or at least the Milano, the Rocket polybag and the Starblaster Showdown sets. Only the Knowhere Escape didn't convince me, despite the figs. In fact, although I only have a limited interest in the Superheroes theme, I rank the GotG, together with some Ultra Agents, among the best Lego released in 2014 Quote
sologuy369 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 My favorite is the Indiana Jones temple escape set from Raiders of the lost ark Quote
Monkey Joe Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Cap vs. Red Skull. Though it is the only one I own for now ;) Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 My favorite is the Indiana Jones temple escape set from Raiders of the lost ark Um, I believe that is a Indy set from 2008, not in fact a 2014..superhero set... Quote
Jared Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Nothing from DC's selection really impressed me this year, so I don't really have one for this category. MARVEL: X-men vs. The Sentinel. This was hands-down as many have pointed out the best set of the year. The selection of minifigures blew me away (Storm is phenomenal, as are Wolverine and Cyclops and Magneto), the jet is very well built and well worth building, and the sentinel is fantastic. Although I had to wait a couple months before I could buy the set on sale, it was so worth the wait. Now the trouble is finishing my X-men moc... ;D Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Gee, how did I miss this.......DC - Riddler Chase.......Marvel - Hulk Smash Lab (only because my son loves the set ) Quote
