How much times passes fro buying a PaB cup to putting it in your stora

I just put away the contents of a PaB cup I bough at least 4 weeks ago. Mostly because I was told guests were coming over to the house and they will be where the pile of LEGO is.

You could have turned it into a speed sorting game with your guests.

It depends on the contents of the cup and available time. The quickest was when I got an entire cup of 1x1 round studs. I use PAB cups for storage so it was already "stored".

I don't think I've ever taken more than a week or so. Off hand, it's usually within a couple of days.

I usually take a couple of hours to store them. Alot of the time it depends on what I have purchased.

When I buy a PaB cup, I generally fill the cup with a specific element. I just store my parts in the cups until I need them.

It can take any given period of time, from hours to months. The latter is particularly true for 'leftovers', i.e. small parts like 1x1 round plates or so, used to fill the space between larger parts in a cup, which I don't really bother sorting right away.

I am pretty random to time doing this as well, since usually, what I get are for unknown future builds. Last one took me just a day or so, though. I have refilled each cup with specific parts storage also. One is just brick separators.

I'm pretty bad about this as well. Most of the time it takes me at least a few weeks. It's always easier to find a few minutes to stop by and get a cup, than it is to find a large enough block of time to sort it and get it into the store.
