XAxles Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 They're in German, and I don't know how to access the English version without a prompt "iPaper does not exist", but they're pretty self-explanatory. Look for the "Neu Januar" and/or "Neu April" mark for the new models, but I recommend you check out Speed Champions (raving the P1 and the Ferrari truck), Pirates and all of Marvel. ALL OF IT. Because Hulkbuster, that's why. Also, Max models for Mixels. It seems, too, that the lead character for the Elves set is named Emily Jones. Someone might have been ahead of me, though, so let me know. And of course you've known the sets in the catalog far earlier than when Brickset said there was a catalog and all-new Marvel sets for Age of Ultron in there. Still, it's better than zilch. Quote
LegoPanda Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 thank you for posting this, although in the description of the Azure Angel they stated Ventress and Anakin fought on Corrusant, while it actually was Yavin VI, kinda stupid mistake they made there Quote
Tariq j Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Thanks for the link. Great to see all of the new sets. Quote
Jody Meyer Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I have to admit the Chima series has kicked it up a notch, I think I have to seriously take a look at some of these new up coming sets. I didn't see any ideas sets though, must be coming out later I guess. Thank you for sharing. Quote
Ambo100 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I'm really pleased to see a new Ferrari Truck, it's been about 10 years since they released the 8654 Scuderia Ferrari Truck. (One of my all time favourite sets). I've never cared for Ferrari or any kind of motorsports but I have always wanted to see more of these sized trucks. Quote

Maybe if the next sets (calling that guy who said Doctor Who sets have a better chance of snagging a spot, there's news about that in the review where the Birds and BBT were chosen) are confirmed.I agree, though, that Chima 2015 is shaping up to be a strong theme. Which made me think: Why haven't they made this for their Octan Team? I mean, their current one feels like a guy bought Marussia. Edited December 18, 2014 by Peppermint_M No Photo Quotes Please Quote
Chills Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Thanks for posting the catalog. I'm wondering why UCS Slave I wasn't pictured. Curious. Those Speed Champions sets are awesome, I really can't wait to start collecting them. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Thanks for posting the catalog. I'm wondering why UCS Slave I wasn't pictured. Curious. I didn't see any of the UCS/D2C models in the catalogue. I believe this catalogue only has sets that are generally available and not exclusives like that. Sone fantastic sets here. The Marvel ones are decent--as usual, the character designs are their strong point, although I am a fan of the redesigned Quinjet. However, its the Elves theme that continues to impress me the more I see of it. I'm not a minidoll kind of guy but this is shaping up to be my most anticipated theme this year. Quote
zux Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Oh, not again, Chima takes all the cover. Quote
emem15 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Tatooine baseplates! i corrected this for you! Quote
XAxles Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 i corrected this for you! I LOL'ed harder than I can handle it. Also, it can be an Architecture baseplate. Bummer, no new train. Yeah, that, but I guess TLG passenger trains, from City to Creator, have been delivering for some time and can stand on it's own. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 No new creator train to replace Horizon Express? Quote
SweetiePie88 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 *checks catalog out* uhh... something critical is not there! Where's the friends series 6 animals? Quote
antp Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I didn't see any of the UCS/D2C models in the catalogue. I believe this catalogue only has sets that are generally available and not exclusives like that. Indeed, Architecture sets and modular buildings are missing as well. Strange there isn't at least a page to mention the existence of exclusive models available from the shop and stores. Quote

I checked out the Architecture page and it said that the Lincoln Memorial will drop on Jan. 1, so there's that bit in the bag, now. Quote
Darth Punk Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I believe this catalogue is for retail stores thus exclusive sets such as slave 1 and modulars wouldn't be included. Quote
Inzane Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Bummer, no new train. Not only that. Disappointing to not see any new track pack format. Per page 63, I was really hoping we'd have some way to buy straight track withOUT having to pay for flexi-track along with it. :( Nope. Quote
1974 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Tan large baseplates! These have widely been available in LUGBULKs a few years back. I got +50 for my Blacktron layout :) But if this means that blue+green are out, TLg are really loosing it These vacuumformed parts can't be all that expensive to make, they could push out any colour in any size (I believe they're cut after molding so it doesn't matter if they're 32x32 or 48x48 or ?x?) and make a bundle .. I guess logistics, which rule _anything_ TLG does had the last word Cheers, Ole Quote
Inzane Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Tan large baseplates! Hopefully they sell well, then next up maybe we can look forward to Hoth baseplates. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Saw more than half of the January Friends sets already out at my local Target. Quote
