jelynch Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I built all of the Track3r models and they all work good except for model 05 which uses the remote. I am able to manually put it into IR mode and the remote works but for some reason when I run program 05, it doesn't work. I have the color sensor installed and I can manually move the robot to execute the challenge over the colored circles. Any suggestions? I just got the Mindstorms for my 7 year old son and I and love it so far. Quote
Jim Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Hi, Welcome to EB. I haven't built Track3r so I am not sure what the problem can be. So the program runs but the brick doesn't respond to input from the remote? Quote
SanJosh Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) Hi I am experiencing same problem. Have you found any solution? The remote works fine if the display on robot is left on IR control. However as I understand the mission/program is supposed to do the spinning and the remote is used for movement. The program in itself has only spinning functionality, which it does but we cannot move the robot with remote (as it - display on robot - is not on IR control at the time of execution of program) I have even tried using the default program (instead of using one I created), but no difference. So yes, program works but the brick does not process the input from remote. Can someone who has successfully been able to make this mission work explain what if anything they have done differently? thank you Edited March 20, 2016 by SanJosh Quote
