JimBee Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Battle Order: Hybros Docken Docken Thormanil Arx Hybros Ellaria Hybros switches the order of his actions, attacking the Golem Skirmishers first and then uses the Health Core on Docken (if he was still standing, otherwise repeats his attack). "Ellaria, allow me to heal Docken last. If he is hit with those arrows, he will be out no matter what. Perhaps you would be lucky to revive him if that was the case, heheh." OOC: Docken's Mail of the Renegade Commander only halves damage from free hits, so if he rolls damage he'll be KO'd no matter what. At least there's a chance to revive him with Roots of Life if that's the case, so Hybros should go last to bring Docken back to full health if he successfully blinds the Rangers. Quote

Scrolls that grant pre-existing effects or ones the target is immune to are not used. Inventory (not dropped): Scroll of Haste (Grants the target the Hastened-effect for one battle. Each scroll reading has a 2/3 chance of success. If the Golem Scholar drops below 10 Ether, he will drink a Grand Tonic from his drops instead of attacking to replenish his reserve. QM Note: The Mobs count as one target but are made up of individual members. As each member of the Mob is killed its stats lower, also until the Standing Party #>Mob # the Mob always gets a free hit. JimBee Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hybros uses a Health Core on Docken and attacks the Skirmishers again. "The most important thing is to keep those Archers occupied while we defeat the Skirmishers. Docken, if you can blind the Skirmishers, keep blinding the Archers. Ellaria, Thormanil, see if you can weaken that mob of Alchemists. Arx, stay on the small ones." Quote
swils Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 "No can do Hybs," he says, as he takes a Remedy. Arx continues to attack the Small Golems. Quote
Sandy Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 OoC: Flipz, you seem to have forgotten the enemies were lucky. Which probably means we should be all dead by now. "Hybros, you have some of those Pumpkin Bombs left, don't you? I know I'm keeping my Smoke Bombs close at hand..." Ellaria attacks the Golem Alchemists from the front row. The battle order remains the same. Quote
JimBee Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hybros cursed himself for not remembering. Perhaps using one earlier could have saved the party some headaches... He tossed a Pumpkin Bomb from the back row then used a Health Core on Thormanil instead. "Save yourself the Remedy and cause some damage to those Alchemists! You too, Docken." Quote
swils Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 "Yer too kind!" Thormanil pockets the remedy and attacks the Alchemists from the front row with Shishkebab Quote
Flipz Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 OoC: Flipz, you seem to have forgotten the enemies were lucky. Which probably means we should be all dead by now. QM Note: Docken Jinxed the Skirmisher Mob, nullifying their Luck, and Ellaria is Lucky herself. Hybros, Docken, and Arx just rolled really well. I can roll a round tonight if I can get actions for Docken, otherwise next round tomorrow. Quote
Flipz Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 QM Note: Using Docken's last specified action, since no others were given for him. Missed that Hybros suggested a target for Docken. I'll go with that, then. Round 7 of the Sanctuary Skirmish Hybros throws Pumpkin Bomb - (All enemies: stunned, poisoned-by-1, asleep, blinded, sealed, and confused) Bartholomew Docken (Darksteel Crossbow) vs. Golem Alchemist Mob - SHIELD SHIELD (Aura - Docken: Aura) Bartholomew Docken (Darksteel Crossbow) vs. Golem Alchemist Mob - Damage SHIELD (Docken: no deflection, no damage (asleep) ) Thormanil Nihai (Shishkebab) vs. Golem Alchemist Mob - Hit SHIELD (Golem Alchemist Mob: 16+44+1=61*2/2=61+61=122 damage + Asleep removed) Arx vs. Small Golem Mob - Breath Damage (Arx Docken: no damage (asleep) ) Hybros uses Health Core on Thormanil - (Thormanil: full health restored, Bleeding removed) >Ellaria Arbour (Ignis Fatuus) vs. Golem Alchemist Mob - Hit (Golem Alchemist Mob: 13+31=44/2=22 damage + Poison 15) Golem Alchemist Mob + Civilian Golem Defender Mob + Golem Skirmisher Mob + Golem Ranger Mob + Golem Scholar Mob vs. Bartholomew Docken: 0 (no effect, stunned removed)+Butchery+0 (no damage, Asleep)+0(no damage, Asleep)+0 (no damage, Asleep)= Butchery - 85/2/2/2=10-23=0 damage + Bleeding 5 Civilian Golem Defender Mob: -15 (poison) Docken: -10 (Bleeding) Under Pumpkin protection, the party pummels the Alchemists, though not quite enough to kill the first one. Flipz Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 OOC: If Docken has full health when his aura fades, will the bleeding effect linger? QM Note: I'd say no, since he would have been healed to full (normal) health in the interrim. Quote
Sandy Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 OoC: The enemies should be confused as well. Also, Docken should have double maximum health. Ellaria keeps on attacking the Alchemists from the front row. The battle order is the same! Quote

Scrolls granting negative effects are directed to the target, while those granting positive effects are aimed at himself. The Golem Scholar can only use as many scrolls as his remaining Ether allows, starting from the one listed first in his inventory. Scrolls that grant pre-existing effects or ones the target is immune to are not used. Inventory (not dropped): Scroll of Haste (Grants the target the Hastened-effect for one battle. Costs 10 Ether.), Scroll of Slowness (50/50 chance to inflict Slowed on the target at the cost of 10 ether.), Drops: The Scholar's Story (journal, Quest Item), 3x Grand Tonic, 1-2: Scroll of Fire Armor (½ chance to conjure a layer of fiery armor over the target, giving them a ½ chance to deal the Burned by 10 when hit by Damage or Special Damage; costs 5 Ether) 3-4: Scroll of Minor Dispel (Enables the user to remove one negative effect from the target. Each casting has a 50/50 chance of success and costs 5 Ether.) 5-6: Borrowed Butcher's Cleaver (WP:3, throwing weapon, inflicts Bleeding-5) Note: The Golem Scholar attacks with a throwing weapon; after one roll of Damage or one Free Hit, he will move to the front row and retrieve his throwing weapon on the next Free Hit or roll of Damage. If he drops below half health, the Golem Scholar will no longer attempt to retrieve his throwing weapon, but will instead remain in the Back Row and focus exclusively on casting his scrolls; one random scroll will be chosen, and if the scroll inflicts a positive effect a random ally will be chosen as its target. In the case of the Civilian Golem Defender Mob, its various Specials are disabled and replaced with generic Damage rolls when the golem that would administer each Special is dead. Golems in a mob are killed from left to right of their individual portraits.
