These MOCs are based on Star Wars models, but they take place in the LEGO space timeline. In my story-line, the Lego Empire has allied itself with the Nexus Force (they have their own thread here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=101620 ) and Classic Space Command.

I have built the large spaceship already, and hope to have the smaller ships soon.

This ship was inspired by the 2008 Malevolence combiner model. This part goes on the middle of the ship, on both left & right sides: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=4150ps5 It also goes on the smaller ships, as It's the Empire's symbol.

The HMS Ironwood was named for a city in the Empire and has been in service since 2009. The ship is a one-of-a -kind, as her only sibling (The HMS Legoredo) was destroyed in the 'Battle for Galaxy City' in early 2011 against the Blacktron. The Ironwood suffered heavy damage in that battle, and was put in space dock for a whole year. After the repairs, she was paired with two Star Destroyers, (the HMS Victory & the HMS Honor) and sent off an a victory tour of the known Galaxy.

These Star Destroyers are recolored and modified versions of 2014 set 75033. (Star Wars, Mircofighters sub-theme)

The HMS Victory & HMS Honor are identical parts of a 20-strong series of ships started in mid-2011 and continuing to this day. These are second-generation Destroyers, but are virtually identical to the earlier Imperial I class. These ships arrived too late to help in the 'Battle for Galaxy City', but were very useful in the ensuing 'Siege of Blacktronia' (the Blacktron home world) and the reduction of the surface of Blacktron City-world of Almaak III to molten slag. They were paired with the recently repaired Star Cruiser HMS Ironwood and sent off an a victory tour of the known Galaxy, all the while keeping tabs on any enemy or potential threat movements.

The heavily armored (and armed!) bridge of the HMS Ironwood has two officer stations and one desk for Admiral Oswald Lyons. The bridge is featured on the micro-scale model by a transparent 1x1 round stud on the spire towards the rear of the ship.
