john cleese Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 (edited) so this is something i made along time ago, but i didnt like the interior and i couldnt seem to fix the problem. I wanted to build it again today and looked at the pics. I decided hey these arent half bad. So i'm posting them. Also rebuilding doesnt look too promising a prospect. :'-( THE SLUGWORM! The slugworm was one of the finest vessels of what could be called piracy's second golden age. It didn't pack a lot of punch; it was a spy vessel, but it was the first of it's class. With plenty of communication devices, it could send out waves to scramble communications and monitors of enemy planes and ships. It had only a single torpedo at the front to protect it in engagements with foe craft. However it was so proficient at confusing pilots and captains. That allied planes and ships would often attack eachother in the frivoloty of it all. One of the many tricks employed by these new era pirates and one of their best. the top view the side So anyway, i built this moc after thinking up a clever way to make a window with this piece and this piece. This is to the best of my knowledge my own idea, and one that i thought was pretty good. Because when built like this there aren't any obstructions as with this for instance. Basically the moc was built to use this idea, however i ended up using some pretty cool snot techniques and adding my own brand of crazyness by attaching a ridiculous amount of antennae to it. Overall i'm pretty sad i probably wont rebuild it; i miss the playability factor alot. I had another moc that went with this, An outpost. It also used a unique window design, using magnifying lenses. It fit the theme perfectly, with lots of antennae. But i scrapped that cause i didnt like the mounted machine gun and cannon. Also i thought i'd build something better.
