Timoonn Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) I was really surprised to find this on my box. Anyone else? Edited February 8, 2014 by Timoonn Quote

Lakop Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Interesting! Could be worth something one day. H Quote
MrTekneex Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Wow! IMHO is much better than the "mini-booklet": it gives it a sense of majesty! Quote
AndroTech Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 In which country did you bought the 42009? Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Me likey! I haven't seen one of those yet and I have opened a half dozen or so thus far. Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Bricklink stock. One is reserved for me though. Edited February 8, 2014 by Technic Gearhead Quote
N-4K0 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Wow, unusual find. I too got 6 booklets, like most others. Quote
legolijntje Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 That book looks very good. If anyone finds one and doesn't need it, I would like to trade it against the "normal" 6 booklets Quote
SNIPE Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) I always stack my books up , this is even thicker than the 8448 books 1 and 2 combined, and this is only for one model! Edited February 9, 2014 by SNIPE Quote
Timoonn Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) And i have only one 32 axle, no extra.:( Edited February 9, 2014 by Timoonn Quote
paul_delahaye Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 6 books for me, plus a 32 long axle and a string….. lol, If this had come on 1st April……….we all would be a little more sceptical, you should have saved it. Quote
NXT45 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 And i have only one 32 axle, no extra.:( You could get one for free at www.service.lego.com Quote
Timoonn Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 You could get one for free at www.service.lego.com For an extra part? The piece does not fit in the envelope. :D Quote
Rishab N Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Maybe its only in recently produced 42009s? Either way it looks great Quote
weavil Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I would put it in shrink wrap and put it on display right out of the box. Quote
Balrog Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 For an extra part? The piece does not fit in the envelope. :D They'll package it, so it fits in a bigger envelope. Quote
afoldad Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I think I would prefer the six books to one single book simply because the thinner books will stay open. That big book doesn't look like it would stay open when you lay it flat. It would be irritating to have to prop the book open with battery boxes while you're building. Quote
JTS Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Did this still come in a bag with a piece of card, or is this a cheaper solution for Lego? Quote
