Behold the volcano Island. In the heart of this calm and pleasant Island is a firery volcano.. and that volcano demands a sacrifice :jollyroger:

This is a very nice MOC! :pir-blush:

The overall building is nicely layout. The small hill is really very nice, and I find that the yellow bricks, to illustrate a sandy beach. It certainly pass the message well across.

The steps, up to the hill, is done in a very neat manner. Perhaps, too neat and well arranged. It will be even better to add in moregrass or green by the side of the stairs to show a much messy look.

For your first attempt on your SNOT building. It's really very good by showing one of the Islander, hunting for fishes. Using the koi, is a smart move to illustrate the fish jumping out of the river.

The volcano looks abit small, and dormant. It looks like a fire pond. I am not saying it does not look nice. In fact, I find it very well design, to punish trespassers, by forcing them to jump into hot larva.

Thanks for sharing. :pir-sweet:

A enjoyable MOC to say the least! great work.
I can easily see a few stories coming from this layout.

I like the steps but agree that one or two plants to the side of the sets would improve it.

I laughed when i saw the monkey, i has assumed monkeys would be the villagers friends... obviously i was wrong

I have to agree with WhiteFang on the lava. It looks too calm and not bubbly/about to erupt enough. :pir-sceptic:

But this still beats the !#@$ out of any thing I could make. :pir-cry_happy:

Islander stereotypes both On  And OFF  ! :pir_wacko:

If pirates are coming back, this would be an awesome set.
It might be a bit too expensive, but still I would buy it.
Wonderful work Duke! I love everything about it.
The entire landscaping is brilliant. And the inside of the volcano is very well done.
I wouldn't want to be sacrificed and thrown in this volcano of yours.

I also think it's time you get a MOC-expert tag :pir-wink:

Nice work Duke, your water came out fine!

I agree with Boney here, it would make a great set if pirates were ever to return!

Errrr... Exactly where is the volcano part? It just looks like a rocky outcrop.

Nonetheless, it looks awesome so I'm flagging it as frontpage material!

No, I need a faster and more reliable Internet connect. That picture didn't load and it's not the first time a picture hasn't loaded after I've asked a question like that.
