snefroe Posted February 15, 2006 Maybe some kind of bar or number can be added to a member's profile to indicate how much he/she has been to the Dark Chamber of EB. hm... i don't think a chamber bar would be doing any good: 1) it' none of anyone's business to know how many times some one has been in the chamber, except for the admins and the member in question 2) EB is supposed to be a nice website that welcomes people and encourages people to post. Putiing a mark on any member for a past behaviour/mistake does not fit into the image EB wants to send to the general public 3) a bar warning could be considered an additional punishment, after having been "punished" by being in the chamber. that goes against the priciple of punishing people in general. once you've done your time, you get a second chance, you shouldn't be punished a second time by having a bar on your profile saying you've behaved badly, for every one to see... 4) it's not as EB is sending dozens of members to the chamber over and over again. Yes, the chamber has been populated rather often since its creation, but as far as i know, we don't have members who are being send to the chamber on a constant basis. Besides, if your bad behaviour continues, they'll just kick you out, instead of sending you back to the chamber... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If a member went in the chamber and made it out (yes it happens !!), he redeemed himself, so no need for everyone to see that he was a former "bad" member !!! SuvieD Posted February 15, 2006 It would be fun to have Apo make a fake prison photo with a made up inmate number in it though. We could have a gallery of all the EB baddies on a sticky topic. Jipay Posted February 16, 2006 Admin have a warning bar they can use to rank the badness of the trolls here :biggrin: On a sidenote, the chamber is a special forum were members who badly behaved are sent. There we try to explain to them why they are acting bad in the normal forums and what they have to do to improve. Once we think they are ready, they can go back to the forum.
