"Oh, and the real Rhodus is E this time."

OoC: Ice Blade E lacks a period after its Distorted Reflection special.

And the battle suddenly becomes very difficult! We should have lifted that Phoenix Essence from Isabella before she was gone!

"If Alexandre heals himself, Johon and I are the less wounded ones. I suggest that Johon tackles Rhodus (from the back row) while I attempt to hit the Blade. Lycan and Elgar should heal themselves and Punii mix some unlike jellies. How does this sound?

We also have two smoke bombs among us, so we need to consider whether to use that option or keep going."

Unless the party decides otherwise, Galen attacks Ice Blade E from the back row with his katana.

OoC: Please feel free to chime in, Danny. Your input would be valuable at this stage.

"True Lycan, but he's the only one who can heal the rest of us, so we can't afford to lose him. I don't think that we can rely on potions alone to win this fight. And his Guardian Angel can buy us some time if he were to come back."

So what is the decision for me? Or maybe Galen should just run, and when we get knocked out, the quest can go on. We restock on consumables and come back."

For now, Rhodus E, front.

Well, my thoughts are that, without me, Alex will have to do healing, which is not his most useful activity. He's best as a defensive/offensive front-line fighter. His high SP and SP ignoring blade are perfect for dealing with Rhodus, and if he didn't have to heal, he'd be there the entire time. Since he's not dealing with Rhodus, I would think the next most defended should. Unfortunately, Johon would not survive a frontal attack from Rhodus. I did the math. No one but Alex would. Therefore, I think it might be wiser to put Lycan on Rhodus. At this point we're not discussing killing him, but surviving longer. If at any point you invoke his jab frenzy Everyone but Johon will die. It may just be safer to escape while you have the chance. Here is my plan for maximum safety, assuming you don't just bail now.

Order? (for now):

Punii: Mix jellies

Alex: Heal Self, BR (he's in front in-case he rolls 6)

Elgar: Give Johon Smoke Bomb, BR (this is our contingency plan.)

Galen: Blade E, BR (to avoid free hits. You will die if he deals damage to you)

Lycan: Death E, FR (to avoid free hits. You will die if he deals damage to you)

Johon: Use Smoke Bomb if Either Lycan or Galen died or invoked a special. if not, Drink Grand Potion, BR (this is our contingency plan)

Sylph: Chill

You could do this, or just get out now.

"I too can flee remember."

"That would be an option. You would be our safety against the risk of failing the Quest here and now, though winning this fight without you would become even more difficult."

OoC:

Unfortunately, Johon would not survive an attack from Rhodus.

Attacking from the back row, would we not both survive normal Damage?

You could do this, or just get out.

What does everyone think?

Such a shame. Guess I need to get back to Lycanthrope Form. How easy it will be I don't know. Sylvania help us.

"What, we are running away. I suggest Lycan runs away so we don't fail the quest but the rest of us continue our fight with Rhodus. I don't think I will be able to stand meeting Rhodus again if we run away."

The unconscious Sylph rolled over a third time. The battle order changed.

Elgar: Drink Grand Potion?

Lycan: Run

Galen: Blade E, BR (to avoid free hits.)

Johon: Death E, BR (to avoid free hits.)

Sylph: Chill

Elgar, do you still want to drink the potion?
