It had proven a good day. The Black Sun had given Viqia a nice advance on her pay, and she was strolling through the palace corridors happy that she could now afford reoutfitting her starship after her latest... mishap. And so far, all she had done was capitalising on her reputation. Perhaps I needn't even do anything to earn this pay, she thought, as the Black Sun seemed more focused on keping her in their retinue than actually giving her any work. Lost in her own thoughts, some moaning and mumbling reached her ear from shat appeared to be a wounded rebel pilot. "They are coming... Bounty hunters... Ruthless...." Just outside the blast doors, in another long corridor, a group of Imperial bounty hunters were moving in on the throne room. Rumours that the Empire was interested in prince Xizor had attracted the boldest and bravest of the underworld scum. One of them hit the switch for the door... ...which would be the last thing he ever did! Viqia fired a shot through his face with her trusty blaster rifle... ...and dived for cover. It seemed she might have to earn her pay anyway...
