Hi everyone!
My latest build is a replica of a draisine (we call it Dresina in Portugal)—a small railway vehicle used for inspection and light maintenance on train lines. The model is built in 1:45 scale and fully motorized using Circuit Cubes.
The battery is cleverly disguised as cargo, hidden beneath a fabric LEGO tarp (part 69244 in dark tan), which was only available in set 75290 (Mos Eisley Cantina). This allowed me to integrate the power system without compromising the model’s realistic appearance.
One personal touch: the "Mia" graffiti was hand-drawn directly onto the bricks using Posca markers. I wanted to give the build a bit of character and that lived-in, slightly gritty look often seen on real-life railway vehicles.
