Dreaded by sailors across the globe and throughout the centuries, sea serpents are the most fearsome monsters of the unknown deep. Long before the corners of the maps were shaded in, these legendary creatures lurked in uncharted waters, emerging through the roiling waves to swallow hapless seamen and destroy entire ships. It is difficult to know the origins of the legend; tales of sea serpents spread from port to port over thousands of years, taking particular hold in places such as the Middle East, North America, Scandinavia and Great Britain. This is the fifth model in my Legends and Lore series. It is comprised of 6,438 elements, took four weeks to design and create and was completed in February 2020. Here There Be Serpents! Megatron turned into a winged dragon in Transformer Beast Wars series , shown back in the 1990s. Now , you can build one on your own, using only the parts from LEGO Creator set 31150: Wild Safari Animals! I was planning to build a Dragon Transformer in Year of the Dragon (2024). But I guess better late than never :) In my creation here, transformation between dragon and robot mode doesn't require reassembly of parts. ROBOT MODE VIDEO..! BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS! Well.... for every other Transformers I built using LEGO set 31150 so far, free building instructions /tutorials are provided. For this Dragon Megatron, you may visit my rebrickable page to purchase the building instructions (link below). THank you for your support !! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-210506/alanyuppie/transformer-megatron-dragon-beast-wars-using-lego-creator-31150/#details

LEGO set 31161: Medieval Dragon is a brand new set released this year. And it totally blew me away when it comes to the parts inside this set. From the outside, the dragon mode might seemed to be pretty sleek and all. But internally..... the limbs and and tail are powered by a bunch of ball joints. The set above will be my main focus to build many, many Transformers in the coming months. And to start the ball rolling..... building tutorial will be free for this first one, and every other TFs I made using this set. ABOUT HUNG-GRR Hung-grr is the leader of team Terrorcon from G1 Transformers cartoon series, turning into a 2-headed dragon. He formed the body of combiner Abominus with his other 4 team members. For my first attempt in building Transformers using a specific LEGO set , I will keep it simple. It's an exercise to endear myself to the parts provided from that set and it's future potential of alternate modes. So Hung-grr was chosen simply because transformation to his dragon mode was simple for the lower half of the robot ! However..... my creation here will not have combiner ability because I am not too keen on the rest of the terrorcon members. four heads are better than two! VIDEO TUTORIAL! Note that the step-by-step tutorial in video above is complete, EXCEPT for the robot head and dragon front legs. They're quite easy to build simply by staring at the photos long enough. This is a special mini challenge to improve your observational and building skill !! You (and your kids) will thank me! Alternatively..... you can buy the complete building instructions in PDF document format via my rebrickable.com page (link below) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-212995/alanyuppie/transformer-two-headed-dragon-hung-grr-lego-31161-alternate-creation/#details Thanks for the support !!
