Location: I06 - Yetornius Tags: Spaceship, exploration, vehicle Here is Lord Marc's first build for lord business (the mighty Octan corp.). It is a micro/mini spaceship that is flying over Yetornius. One of my first few renders so I am learning how to use POV-Ray. Day: 60 Crew: Lord Marc (captain, pilot), Sarraid (co-pilot, assistant) Log: "After almost two months of flying at over mach 50 we finally can slow down. It was a steady entry into Yetornius' very thin atmosphere (500 m thick). However, what might seem like a safe entry was very much not so. High amounts of friction with a superheated gas and a scorching hot planet warmed the belly of our ship to well over 750 million°K. Luckily we had our spacecraft coated with some special paint so our crazy expensive baby was fine. Our food supply is plentiful and so is our water. We are currently only 20 000 km away from our explorers. Only an hour or two more till we land. The landscape is, well, ugly, dull and gloomy. The heat from the lava lets us use less power because we start to hover from the rising air." Speeding by a small hill like thing on Yetornius. So, what do you think of it? (constructive criticism is also appreciated)
