  1. Thought I'd post this here. Workin' on a custom Hellboy ~ the head will be a red modified Arealight Twi'lek head (credit for idea to Arealight), and the tail is an official monkey tail. Still working on the tail's paint. The decals will be by Kaminoan. Stay tuned.
  2. Thanks. But the two contests were almost exactly the same, it was just easier for me. Plus I'm swamped. I've got so much on my plate right now, I'm forgetting what I need to do!
  3. That's the fun of a contest! The sponsors of the contest are really great, and very generous! Hats off to them! (And our host! )
  4. I did. I don't like having to go to the entry thread, then back, then back again.... That's whats conufsing! Thanks! The top wing is blurry because when I went to photograph it at that angle, it was too tall, and that part of the wing wasn't against my canvas, so I had to make it look nice, white and clean. Not sure what you mean.... it's just lights on a ship. I used blue and red... Anakin's hair is by Arealight ~ thought I'd throw one of the sponsor's products. Here's a pic with the younglings: Couldn't fit anything else on the base....the main attraction is the ship, not the temple, the statue was an extra. Thanks very much for the feedback! I do appreciate it!
  5. Hey, I entered! Thought I'd tackle my favourite ship. And I used lifelites!
  6. Chancellor Palpatine's Theta-Class Shuttle (Bignette entry) After killing many younglings, Palpatine's shuttle arrives at the Jedi Temple. They conspire against the republic... (The model lights up (www.lifelites.com) ~ no photoshopping here!) More pictures here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/61637 Good luck.
  7. I entered, thanks to the rule modification.
  8. Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Golden Ants We find our hero in another adventure. On the outskirts of an African jungle, Indy goes to return an ancient Golden Ant to it’s original shrine. But besides hordes of killer Siafu Ants, our friend is not alone… Thanks.
  9. Cool, thanks! To the Jordan Cave! Away!
  10. Replacement parts are free, however, it takes a little while for the pieces to come in. Don't expect them in a week. I'd estimate a month+.
  11. Looks like a great contest, however, I have a question: You say we can use custom parts from dealers online, so I trust Lifelites are allowed? Or does the rule only refer to minifigure parts... (Linky: http://lifelites.com/ ) Thanks you kindly!
  12. I present the third installment... Linky: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/61376 Thoughts?
  13. I was just thinking ~ this isn't the Death Star, it's the Death Star III, I mean, look how exposed and ripped open it is! Even more so than the Death Star II!
  14. Simply the most beautiful hunk of plastic I've ever seen. Too bad there are no imperial gunners w/ cool sweeping helmets. $400 USD!? I'll have to get this one anyway ~ glda I didn't buy the MF ~ this one has all the minifigures + more! Is that a new DV? Black 3-po unit? Must....know...release date! Anyone know? And an extra for the road. Though I can't say much about the lil' Tie ~ is that supposed to be minifig scale or what?
  15. Thanks very much for the feedback. Not for the vig, for my JTTCOTE series, but those stickers are very useful! I got the advanced one ($50) kit C. My lighting is nothing special ~ just a few canvases against a wall on the ground of my dining room. I'm only now starting to work on lighting for the JTTCOTE MOCs. I do a lot of lighting changes on photoshop, too (contrast, levels etc.) Thanks so much! I didn't incorporate the battery box in any MOCs yet since there is no need to. It's simply hiding behind the vig, but hiding it in other MOCs (trains or what have you) seems to be easy from pictures I've seen. Thanks again!
  16. I'm particularly pleased with how this came out ~ no photoshopping here ~ lights by lifelites. I gave Indy gray stubble using Uncle Owen's head! Thoughts?
  17. Here you go: http://brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=1555-1 MISB on BL: $1.50, so I'm guessing not that rare, if it's the same one I linked to. ( http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=6464 )
  18. Soliciting votes? (Thanks, Danke, Gracias, Merci Bocoup, Domo arigato to those who voted for mine. (Heck, I spelled half of those wrong, right? Oh well, the pronunciation is correct; that's what matters! ) When does voting end for this category, Cap'n?
  19. 20. Thanks so much guys! What was up with the "Welcome" earlier? Thanks. But if you read the story, I'm pretty sure the lack of magma was explained. (I don't want to spoil too much, but you may be jumping the gun a little, though I can't blame you for that. )
  21. The show where everything's made up and the points don't matter! Thanks.
  22. I present the second installment of my narrative series: Link: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/60653 Thanks for reading thus far!
