  1. 1 point for JopieK (yes, the image is bad, but the palace is cool) 1 point for Mr palmtree (i love it!) 1 point for I Scream Clone
  2. really tough choices here, but i'll go for the stalls that i find most original, although there are many to choose from. 1 point for Johnno's Trouble 1 point for Fatyankee's Abdullah and Ackbars bizarre fast food 1 point for Skalldyr's Morgenland (great minaret)
  3. 1 point for MrTool 1 point for brickzone 1 point for Pedro
  4. clearly TheBrickster has to get this minifig head for the ultimate version of the creature from the black lagoon
  5. Thank you for this review with these lovely deteiled pictures! Funny how we were supposed to collect the atlantis key rings, when they are all included in the portal anyway... Regarding the swim-around-the-gate issue, I think we have to imagine the gate is embedded in a rock wall, maybe like the squid gate in the lego atlantis movie. Obviously an actual lego rock wall around the gate would raise the piece count ridiculously
  6. Signed. My first sets when I got back from my dark age were power miners, so that's a no brainer for me. More lime green!!
  7. Bought today at a local toystore: 6253 Shipwreck Hideout (40 €) 7786 The Batcopter: The Chase for Scarecrow (45 €) Haven't opened the Batman set yet... still thinking about keeping it MISB and sell it on ebay one day ;) On the other hand, they still have a second Batcopter set at the store, so maybe open it and buy the second one for profit on ebay :skull: Edit: screw it, i opened it, and it's such a great set, i'll buy and open the second one too. somebody stop me!
  8. I don't know if anyone has posted this before (I couldn't find it by using the search), but now there's the jester impulse pack available at S@H (at least in Austria): link: http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...cn=640&d=70
  9. Thanks a lot, moom! Added it to my calendar.
  10. Thanks for the sweet review KimT! I too will be getting this set for the great figs and horse barding... and because it's cheap, and because my knights are waiting for reinforcements since 1995 ;) As much as I like cheese slopes, I think the limit in the parts:cheese slopes ratio is reached. In my opinion TLC is going crazy with cheese in the Kingdoms theme.
  11. Great Review, but I found something to nitpick: I guess you just calculated the €-price from the $ down, but, as usual, rather add 15-20% to the $-Price, then you have the price in EU. In TRU in Austria, the Price is €129,99 (I looked in the TRU in my area, and they still have 3-4 of this set, gotta save money fast...) http://www.toysrus.at/spielwaren/lego/7754...iser-62774.html sorry, if I was too picky

    MOC: Robot

For my first MOC, i decided to start simple. This is a robot i made entirely with pieces from creator set 5865, which i just bought this morning Sorry about the picture quality, I'm still using the camera on my cellphone.
  13. My first sets (don't remember in which order i got them, i was only 6) were: still have very fond memories of them, if only i had not lost too many parts to rebuild them
  14. TRU in austria also has 20% off on lego this week (if you buy for more than 30€), so i bought: 7197 Venice Canal Chase 7627 Jungle Cutter ...my collection is slowly beginning to take shape also i got 7641 City Corner for my nieces birthday, she's a lucky girl!
  15. i was greedy today: 5891 apple tree house 8961 crystal sweeper (it was down to € 40 from 59.99) 4748 ogel's mountain fortress (reduced to € 49.90) i guess i'm staying at home tonight, building all of it
  16. ok, i'm from austria, right next to liechtenstein, and half an hour away (by car) from germany. right in the middle ;) i'll apply to the reviewers academy as soon as i get a camera that works properly. don't know when that happens, as most of my spare money is going into lego right now
  17. Hi there! I'm 28, from central europe (one of zee german-speaking countries) and got back from my dark age just 4 months ago. Seeing and loving my nieces' and nephews' lego sets, i started bying new sets again and washed and sorted my old legos from 1987-1993. My old lego sets are mainly castle, some space, some pirates, a little technic and town. The new ones i got are Power Miners, Indiana Jones, every impulse sets i find when shopping for food, and every set i find on sale I think i have some old sets that still need reviewing, so, as soon as i found the technique to take pictures of lego, i'd be happy to add some pictoral reviews! cheers everyone
