  1. As a kid I had so many different sets from different themes. Now I'm a collector of sets so I just collection Star Wars. Lego and Star Wars are both from the childhood. I guess I never out grew them. But who can when its so much fun? I've considered buying a few castle sets but I think they would look out of place with about 110 star wars sets. Maybe later on I'll look into buying a few. Recreating a scene from Lord of the Rings would be an interesting project. So right now, I only Star Wars.
  2. Cool... I wondering if its worth anything. Most likely not.
  3. Your son is a really lucky kid to play with all of those great mocs. I'm sure you've had to do quite a few repairs with him around though. My favorite moc of yours is the hoth scene. Between the Endor and Hoth you have quite a few mortorized AT-ATs. You can tell that there was a lot of work and dedication put into all of these dioramas and mocs and its outstanding. Thanks for sharing
  4. This is a simply amazing moc. I'm sure that you already know that though. You executed the a model of Invisible Hand better then I've ever seen before. From the overall shape to the fine details and colors its breath taking. How long did it take you to create this model? If its not to inappropriate, about how much does it cost to build such a ship? The background of your pictures is also very interesting. You have a great collection. Poor people like me are only stuck with two Republic Gunships Your other mocs are also mind blowing. I really love your Endor scene and your Venator is equally impressive. For some reason I don't see a picture of the Hoth cave as recently commented. I can't wait until you show us a few up close shots of them.
  5. No problem. Thanks for your interest. I already have another member interested in this set so it isn't availible right now. The Tie Bomber is still for sale.
  6. Great scene! The foliage is really thick and realistic and the whole diorama oes together really well. At first I didn't realize that there was a bunker. You have some great figures in there too. You don't normally see 5 Geonosians together.
  7. PM'd If you don't recieve my message please contact me. Thanks
  8. I'm looking to sell 3 of my Lego Star Wars sets. I didn't want to open up a bricklink store and go though all of that work so I'll try selling on here. They are as following: 7153 Jango Fett's Slave 1 (Taken) Someone local offered my a pretty hefty price for the figures a while back that I couldn't turn down. There is one piece missing which is a trans orange minifigure head which is used as one of the bombs. Includes instructions but is missing box. 10029 UCS Naboo Starfighter (Taken) 100% complete with instructions. No box. Stickers are applied but are in great condition. 4479 Tie Bomber $30 100% complete with instructions. No Box. Minifigure (Tie Pilot) is in mint condition. The 4479 and 10029 sets were built once and never played with. They are in great condition. The 7153 was built about 2-3 times but only for storage reasons. I would be willing to trade only for sealed sets. I would really like to expand my sealed collection. I would prefer the first round of battlepacks (Ep. 3 Clone Troopers and Droids). Add a reply or PM me if you are interested. I never took a picture of the slave 1 because right now its in pieces from being checked over on peeron.com. Thanks
  9. Right now I'm listening to "I Walk Alone" - Greenday I like a lot of different bands though: Billy Talent, MCR, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Finch, The Fray, Def Leppard, The Used, Nickleback, Guns N Roses, Coldplay and a few others.
  10. I wouldn't recommend doing this. If you made a model for $1000 it would appeal to a much bigger audience and get more money for the amount of work you've put into it. $15,000 can pretty much buy you a new car. Very few people have the money to spend that high of an amount even if its going to charity. It sounds amazing though and I wish you the best of luck.
  11. Someone should add a poll to this topic. I'm interested in which one is the most popular. My favorite would have to be Cloud City or the Sandcrawler. I like figure sized sets the best. The Yoda looks pretty great but I don't own that set so I'm not sure about it yet.
  12. Oh nice, I have the same hair as that guy. He looks a bit strange though. Like a Clone Wars figure. Edit: Haha I guess I'm emo.
  13. Haha. You have a lot of time on your hands. The Yoda comment made me laugh though.
  14. Thanks for all of the greetings everyone Greetings to you too. I would say that my favorite is the 4483 (first version) AT-AT.
  15. That is fantastic! You executed General Madine perfectly into CubeDude form. You have a great attention to detail in the torso and face. I see that he even has a pointer stick.
  16. When I was a child, I would build the set and then later rip it apart for pieces and make my own creation. Now I just build the set once, put it on a shelf and never touch it again. Thats why all of my Lego is in mint condition. I haven't really done anything creative with my lego but down the road I will most likely go on pick-a-brick or bricklink to make a diorama or two.
  17. Wow! Indiana Jones #1 Indiana Jones #2 That is such a rip-off. I like how he said that others have sold for $9099.00. Don't you think someone is going to research something before they spend thousands of dollers and find that the whole sealed set is about $85.00. As I said before the most expensive set is the Batman Statue that sold at $27,000. Not sure about an official set though.
  18. Its a great amount of figures for only one year. You must of have bought quite a number of sets. I guess you only collect Original Trilogy sets, Right? I can relate with you about how frustrating standing figures can be. In my display the figures have fallen so many times. The Super battle Droids and Battle Droids are the worst for this by a long shot.
  19. No offense, but I don't see how these look like Tactical Droids in any way. They are tall, thin and grey and white in color. You should make the legs and arms a lot longer and take some of the chest bulk away. Thank you for sharing though. Its really hard to make a brick built figure and I respect that. Lego pieces are just to large to make one. The Destroyer Droid is even massive compared to the one in the movies. I don't think that they were 8 feet tall. I'm sure you vould do an awesome Tactical Droid with a bit more time. I remember seeing one on mocpages a little while ago that could give you some ideas.
  20. That Geonosian Arena wasn't given away. I remember that it was featured in one of the issues of the lego magazine a few years back though.
  21. I have about half of my lego in a display case but the rest of my sets get cleaned by using a Swiffer Duster. It's the easiest, fastest and one of the cheapest ways to get the job done. I purchased mine from Zellers.
  22. I'm really excited about getting another AT-AT. The first one was really amazing while the second was a bit of a let down. The fact that it was motorized took away from it quite a bit. I prefer an interior because I never "play" with my lego. It just sits on a shelf. A Wikia entry says that the figures included are C-3PO, Hoth Rebel, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Snowtrooper (2), AT-AT Driver and General Veers. I'm not sure how reliable this site is though. Link - Wikia Entry I personally really hate how detailed the new figures are. I wonder if they will look out of place from the rest of my collection especially since most of my sets are the classic star wars models. The Boba Fett has a bit of a Mega Blocks feeling. I would really love it if the Lego company brought a Genosis Arena. That is one of my favorite star wars scenes and I think it would even look better in Lego form.
  23. Wow! You most likely threw out a couple thousand dollers. There has never been a wooden pull toy on bricklink or ebay in the last year.
  24. The first pull toys are basically impossible to find. It would be a great addition to my collection.
  25. All of the sets in tn the drawers are sealed. My sealed collection consists of: -Mos Eisely Cantina -Desert Skiff and Slave 1 Co-Pack -2 Ewok Attacks -Final Duel I -Landspeeder -Chrome Darth Vader -Vulture Droid -2 Echo Bases -Bounty Hunter Persuit -Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid -Ahsoka's Starfighter and Droids -7140 X-Wing (first lego star wars set) -Swamp Speeder -Imperial Inspection -Star Destroyer -Jabba's Sail Barge -Clone Turbo Tank -Tie Collection All of the boxes on top of my display case are opened. I just needed a place to store boxes and I think the box art looks nice.
