thanks for the replies. an internet search reveals plenty of images of supplied instructions. it would be really great to have access to complete alternate instructions for specific sets. is there a reason why such things don't exist? the LDD could and should have more set filters (I have seen no way of updating or importing them). then instructions created and filtered by set from within LDD with a pdf output would open up a whole new world of building opportunities for many people. this way YOC becomes MOC just a thought
