    The Road

Truly amazing job Love all the details in it - the shopping cart, the minifigs, the building. A good story :)
  2. I'm now close to the final straight. Actually it's pretty much complete as there are couple of small details and stickering work to do. This is how the interior came up: 1st Floor - The Lobby 2nd Floor - The Cubicles 3rd Floor - The Conference Room see my first post in this topic 4th Floor - The CEO Office The Roof The set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/georgivar/set...57623479208235/
  3. very nice. but whats going on ever there? some crazy stuff i'm seeing :)
  4. Thanx for the compliments. I'm glad that other people appreciate a modular building with a modern style. I personally don't like the style of the official modular buildings and this was one of the main reasons for me to start doing my own MOCs. I wanted something that is closer to the classic town look'n'feel.
  5. The technic hole is for the pole. The idea is from the 10197 Fire Brigade although I'm not sure if I used exactly the same parts. Here are two pictures: 10x once again for the ideas guys. So far the idea is to have 1st floor for the equipment, 2nd for the fireman restrooms and 3rd floor for the chief of the department and the command center.
  6. This is my first MOC. I started it a couple of months ago with parts from my police station sets which I finally dismantled :) The original idea was to build a bank. But the design of the building - the use of lots of trans-black panels for windows couldn't hide the specific bank features - like security and safety vault. So I decided it will be a better corporate headquarters building. The first floor is the reception and lobby. The second floor is for the regular workers and their cubicles. The third floor is the conference room. The fourth floor of course is for the CEO office. And on the roof we have the communications and air-conditioning units. Some pics (excuse the quality of the pics): Overview: The entrance with a my first tree: The roof - uses a 9v battery box and four electric lights. It's a high building you know: The scale of the whole thing (comparison with my 1yo babygirl): The floorplan: The third floor - the conference room: I have still a lot of work on the interior. But will be very gald to hear your comments :) More photos could be found in my Flickr Set - http://www.flickr.com/photos/georgivar/set...57623479208235/
  7. Thank you all :) I've been thinking about a custom fire truck. In Bulgaria the fire departments still use ZIL 131 which is a hell of a machine and is pretty interesting for a Lego build (I've seen some interpretations already). Anyway. I'll update the topic once I have more news :) btw this building is going to be part of the first Bulgarian LUG event in April. Wish me luck :)
  8. My first post here :) I'm building a modular fire station. I wanted it to resemble two of my favorite sets 6389 and 6571. Here is what i've got so far: Front: Back: Floors: Second floor inspired by 10197 Fire Brigade: Here is how it looks next to one of my other WIP modular buildnigs: Also I would like ideas from you guys as to what interior a fire station needs because I've never been inside one. What do firefighters need? btw here's my flickr account with more pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/georgivar/
