  1. Remember Davy Crockett. R.I.P Fess Parker
  2. The Ace of Spades, the Ace of Spades! Motörhead I listen to this song when I ride my bicycle and I wish to have a motorcycle! Fortunatly, there's a lot of people who are riding motorcycle in my town these times. I'll check if there are some for sale. :skull:
  3. Well, my name is a funny Quebec French expression that we say in my country. The nearest translation of it in english seems to be: Got it! or Got you! You say that when you hit someone or when you got your revenge with your friend in a game. Kin toé!
  4. To me is N.I.B from Black Sabbath... Oh Yeah! Me and my long hair brother are riding in car and doing some headbanging with Black Sabbath music playing very loud. But, I like Cindy Lauper too. The music from the 70's and the 80's are the best! I keep listening it on my turntable.
  5. Well, I asked for a picture of that, but in video is much funnier!!! Thanks again Dennimator...
  6. Thank you Dennimator. The pictures you have found are also good!
  7. Nice work! I really like the MOCs made with classic pirate sets, especially the sets of the soldiers. That proves that the old ones were made by lego to encourage creativity.
  8. Funny. I wish to see Admiral Ackbar saying his words in more situations like that. It would be funny to see him interfere in a wedding ceremony from nowhere... It's a trap!!! Is someone can do this in a picture? Or, has it already be done?
  9. How about the Boomerang Starship?
  10. Thanks, WhiteFang! Kintoé
  11. My first ever was the 6252 Sea Mates. Pirate one day, pirate forever! I remember that I received a value bucket of freestyle bricks too.
  12. Well, thanks to telling me. I have searched for this topic before creating this one, but I didn't found it.
  13. 6252 Sea Mates was my first set ever and I was only 3 when I received it. I'm a big fan of Lego Pirates since then.
  14. I hope so. I very like the new brown box with the Pirate Survival. But, I can't choose which one is better, both of them have accessories. I think it depends of what you need the most. They should have mixed them together to make a set like the old 6252 Sea Mates.

    Alestorm

I saw Swashbuckle four weeks ago in Montreal. They have played in the first part before Korpiklaani! I never saw Alestorm in a show. Personally, I prefer Folk-Viking Metal to Pirate Metal like Ensiferum and Korpiklaani. These are my best! Slayer is coming to town this month. 20 February: Canadian Carnage! :pir-skull:
  16. Yes, me too. It has a lot of space and playability. It can easily be use for a pirate brickfilm. Well... Bravo!
  17. It is a good set to have. Lego should have made more Imperial Armada sets like this one, with some variations and more minifigs.
  18. Yeah, pretty cool! The code screen and the end titles are animated very well too. I recognized the song Dragula by Rob Zombie from the movie soundtrack.
  19. My two favorite themes are Lego Pirates and Lego Star Wars. But in the Star Wars sets, I prefer the Classic Trilogy ones, cause it's more related to my childhood. And personally, I'm not very interested by the Clone Wars storyline. It's the same for the pirate sets. I prefer the older ones to the new line. Even that there's a lot of new elements in the 2009 pirates sets, I prefer the old stuff cause it is more significant to me. I know that the 10210 Imperial Flagship is amazing compared to his predecessor. But I think I would buy the 6274 Carribbean Clipper instead of those. Oh man, I'm so nostalgic!
  20. Hi there, I would like to know what is the first Lego box that you have received or bought. For me, my first set ever was the 6252 Sea Mates from the Lego Pirates Theme. I was only three years old when I received it. And since that day, I have become a big fan of Lego Pirates. Aaaahh... Sweet memories!!
  21. I don't know if it's a paint or a photo, but It would not be bad to have it printed on a T-shirt.
  22. Pirates from Emerson Lake and Palmer and a couple of old songs from Genesis with Peter Gabriel!
  23. Mais là, Eurobricks c'est juste un forum pour les anglophones ou quoi?
  24. Eh, I'm a French Canadian and I really don't care about ice hockey. But in my familly, I'm the only exception. I'm the only exception, as well, that is a fan of Lego. It is true that our language is a mix between British English and old French language. And we have some expressions that can make us look like retarded cause we speak a kind of French dialect named the "joual". But you must know that our ancestors where French, Irish, and people banned from their countries without a good education. They were obliged to populate a French Colony in North America. Later, the British came and they took the rest of Canada. The French colony named "Nouvelle France" has become the Province of Quebec and there is where I live. The majority of French Canadian lives in that Province. I'm mostly French Canadian, but I have Irish ancestors in my Mother's family. And I have some Viking blood from my Dad one .
  25. Is anyone asked itself, while watching, what the ghost pirates could have done with the rum? I mean, they are skeleton ghosts. They cannot drink it. "Do I smell fish?" Splutch!! Very funny!
