  1. I see that we not only got Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', but poor 'Yorick' as well
  2. Hello Derfel, Is this very fine MOC the first of a themed series you are going to make, or do you already have other Legoput Lane MOC's? With friendly greetings, Manfred.
  3. By Elex, taken from http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=430318 By Nyanta, taken from http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=3734
  4. Here is a new link to bring you to the sets: http://www.onetoy.ru/catalog/konstruktoryi/great_russia/ Explanation: Since the Hermitage set is no longer displayed on the frontpage of the site, the method to find the architectual sets of 1Toy as decribed in the original post doesn't work anymore. Trial and error enabled me to find the page back.
  5. Sunday May 2th 2010 at 23:30 TV broadcaster ARTE will bring a episode from a series named "Design" that will feature the LEGO-brick. Afterwards, the episode will be repeated a few instances, on the following (quite impossibe) times: May 4th 2010 04:30 May 4th 2010 10:15 May 8th 2010 07:30 May 12th2010 02:20 For more info, see: http://www.arte.tv/de/woche/244,broadcasti...,year=2010.html (in german) or http://www.arte.tv/fr/programmes/242,date=2/5/2010.html (in french, click on DETAILS) With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
  6. You could turn to Belug and ask if one of the members is prepared to help you, or ask help from a German or Dutch AFOL in case that's more convenient for your locaton, or come visit us at a club event of De Bouwsteen in the Netherlands, where S@H sets are often offered for sale by standholders.
  7. On the "Replacement parts" page http://www1.lego.com/eng/service/replaceme...rts.asp#content, currently it's still possible to find the parts content for a unnamed set with number 10171
  8. For those who are still unfamiliar with the other MOC's and projects concieved or supervised by the designer of this set, here is a link to Eric Brok's LEGO site: http://ericbrok.com/legomind/
  9. While retaining the curved effect of the railing? I'm very curious what your choice of parts for this would be, then.

    New 2007 city sets

These sliding roller door garage elements have been taken in production again since about 2004 already, for set #10159 - LEGO City Airport, wich is currently available from the European section of Shop at Home for a discount price of EUR 69.99 / GBP 48.99. This set is a slightly altered re-issue of original set #6597 - Century Skyway from year 1994 The text underneath says "Farht in alle richtungen" -> "drives in all directions", so my guess is it refers to some kind of stearing feature, although i'm not 100% sure. It could be only turnable wheels as well.
  11. Is't this the scheme where one can order maximum 10 pieces per individual color/element-combination, and one can order maximum 10 of such diffrerent at one time? That has been in effect for a year or so already. I haven't made such an order myself yet, but I've heard from several club members doing so from about the beginning of 2006.

  13. On www.LEGOfactory.com, there seems to be evidence supporting my guess that the new part in set #7239 is a 1x3 round slope, with a 'plate 1x1 sized'-cutout at the bottom of one end. The new Lego Designer Program, to be found in the second "building" of the virtual factory complex, contains a part exactly as I described. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen
  14. I tend to believe that someone noticed Transparent Yellow 1x1x2/3 Slopes will become available in the World City police and firefighter sets that are going to be released, and he anticipated on these parts with a nice MOC. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
  15. I think that you're rigtht it's a new part, but I believe it could also be a 1x3 round slope, with a 'plate 1x1 sized'-cutout at the bottom of one end. There seems to be a real gap there, to me it doesn't look like it's filled up with a clear 1x1 plate. Dit someone already mention that, when you look at the available parts, the two models of the top picture seems to be alternatives of the #7239 set? Or am I now saying something that was already obvious to everyone here? With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
