  1. Sunshine Coasters (and possibly other people). In Target today I saw two new things regarding LEGO. Firstly, the new 8098 Clone Turbo Tank was available. The price was $240!. I personally think that price is appalling, but eh, it just means I can scratch one thing off my birthday wish list, as my relis/parents would never pay that. That other thing of note, the (I believe) entire World Racers series. I didn't catch any prices, though. Oh, and they're out of Collectable Minifigures[/b.! And MYER is having a 20% off marked price on all LEGO. And... that's about all.
  2. Sunshine Coasters get excited 8089 Wampa Cave and 5892 Sonic Boom were both available at KMart at the Sunshine Plaza, and at Caloundra. Each were $69 I recall, which is way overpriced for Wampa Cave in my opinion. Sounds OK for Sonic Boom though, LEGO's MSRP being $89 for it.

Ok grogall, you've convinced me. I'm going to have to save my pocket and ask for more shifts at my job so I can buy these. They just look simply brilliant.
  4. Congratulations, some great entries from the winners! ...and I hope there is a Series 2 contest, as I have already made my entry for when it starts!
  5. I LOVE THAT SHUTTLE! Although I'll probably never get it, it'll probably be extremely overpriced in Australia, like every other LEGO set
  6. Nice, but it'll probably be some outrageous exorbitant price. But seriously, what LEGO Architecture really needs to make is the Sydney Opera House.
  7. For those of you on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, TARGET at the Sunshine Plaza has the Series 1 minifigs available, 4 boxes of them, all just about full. Albeit at $3.75 . Didn't stop me from snagging the Spaceman and the Cheerleader using barcodes though. Oh, and they are located in the toy aisle, not near the counter, so no team members will be staring at you strangely when you pull out your barcode sheet and start rifling through the box.
  8. Ah, yes, when i first got 7748 Tank Droid, I figured by the Clones' jetpacks that a new Boba or Jango wouldn't be far around the corner. Thanks for showing this!
  9. Exactly right. No one at my local stores has any idea about LEGO. Which is why I asked here and didn't 'pick up this little thing called a telephone'.
  10. Hey guys, Does anyone know if the Collectible Minifigs are available anywhere on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland? And if so, what prices and what stores? Thanks,
  11. great review 'jansued!' despite its faults, i will definitely be getting this set. the AT-RT looks brilliant, and those 6 figs are too. could you please tell me the size of it, eg. the height, width and length? thanks.
  12. my friend, that is genius. i needn't say any more : )
  13. General Grievous' The Invisible Hand, with: General Grievous, Lushros Dofine, 2 super battle droids, 2 battle droids, 1 pilot droid and 1 security battle droid. Feature slide out turbolaser batteries like on 8039 Venator, and an escape pod. Measure about 60cm (23") long. Executor Super Star Destroyer, with: Darth Vader, Firmus Piett, Imperial officer, 2 TIE pilots and 2 Stormtroopers. Feature a mini TIE Fighter and TIE interceptor (like Vader's mini TIE from 10188 Death Star, allowing figs inside). Feature slide out turbolaser batteries like on 8039 Venator. Feature a docking bay for the TIEs. Measure about 60cm (23") long. Or either of the above in UCS form, minus the minifigs and mini ships.
  14. Ok, thanks mate. They certainly should've given him a cape, it'd add so much more character to him. Plus he'd look more imposing. Which is what General Grievous is
  15. Looks a bit like a TIE/d fighter (Droid TIE Fighter) or a Vulture Droid, but, eh, it still looks great. Nice work!
