Don't pick up any of the Four or Beware with the Rock

I'd say a Time Travel theme would be cool, you know, could have dinosaurs, a steampunk robot-armor, high-technology villains... All within the 6 villain pack... And of course a "Chronos" for the big bad villain would be nice... We could have an Ice-Age Stormer, a Medieval Furno, an egyptian Evo... And so forth... hehe

But purple ain't exactly the girliest color we have... It is, in fact, an amazing color for making something look rather powerful... I mean, Electro (From the Throwbots) looked great and not to any extent girly... And I'm sure purple would look amazing on certain HF villains too... That's why Evo having purple parts was something amazing to me, it was a "Don't worry, these buildable action figures will get purple sometimes"

Hmn... yes... Using Nuva masks for HF themed things does work... I like it... Works nicely as a villain, good job... About the Brick joints... Maybe you could use some Toa Nuva joints there, they also fit HF's style...

Great expression-/pose-ability... It only bugs me that the head is from a different color than the entire body, but it doesn't affect too much...

Amazing... I like the fact that TLG is pulling out the theme nicely, I always thought that a superhero theme would be amazing thanks to the variety of stuff that can appear... ------ Some thoughts: Stormer is back, woo! As with the last 2 I love his helm... Bulk has 2 silver hands this time, that is appealing indeed... Rocka's mask seems interesting to me actually, a good hi-res image will make it clear though... I believe Rocka may be this year's female for some strange reason... I like its colors though (and als of Rocka XL) I too am glad that sets are "Rahi's" in some way, it's good to have big creatures back... The Witch Doctor looks promising... It certainly looks evil... This theme will be interesting... ---------------- I find it strange that all the 3.0 heroes have a green armor part though, maybe there's a green uber hero combiner?

Surge 1.0 is simply amazing... Of the new ones, well Stormer is the best IMO

Nice use of Tuma's mask, without the stickers it really fits into Hero Factory

For the record... A Medabots like LEGO line would be amazing! I like the concept of modular mocs too... Nice job

MOCPages gallery (made for Eurobrick's Hero Factory Contest) This is Havoc. Built originally as the biggest (literally) hero of all time, he was stolen away from Hero Factory by Von Nebula before actually getting it's Hero Core. Now he's Von Nebula's strongest weapon against the Heroes. As big as he was, the Factory designed him in a way that he's flexible enough to actually stand on one foot. No one knew how useful that could be, but it was nice... Another interesting feature the Factory designed, were two little "chest-guns" made for being able to counter attack smaller targets. They can hide on his back. Beware Hero Factory! Your strongest weapon is now your strongest enemy! So... what do you guys think?

MOC Pages Gallery (made for Eurobrick's Hero Factory Contest) This is Cronos. A robot whose origin is unknown, somehow bears the unique ability of shaping time itself. This is mostly to his high-tech "staff" which allows him to do whatever he wishes with time. He likes clocks, but not the digital ones. That can be seen by the huge and unnecessary ammount of gears on his body. He says they have an use, but no one knows... It is unkwoun how many times Cronos attacked Makuhero city, most of those attacks didn't ever happen (you know, time paradox stuff) So, what do you guys think? Is it "Hero-Factory" enough?

Spiderinator: No, it's not simply a Spider-robot or a Tripod... It's a Spiderinator! Built by Von Nebula (Corroder apparently suggested the colors) these Spiderinators are the most handiful in lackey technology. Not only can they crawl to spy certain Hero Factory members, but they can also shoot a little energy blast that could kill any fly-bots! Some suggest that they may even hide as Flower-bots thanks to their strange gun...

Name: Havoc Leave destruction at every step! HERO FACTORY Alert! Havoc is destroying everything at Makuhero city! Beware HERO FACTORY, as he's the biggest machinery being controlled by Von Nebula. Don't let him use his arm-cannons in the city, and beware of his chest guns! Weapons · Arm-Cannons · Chest Guns · Feet (He can step on everything easily) Backstory: Project CR-5H, of the Hero Factory, was probably one of the biggest (literally) projects the factory ever had. With the recent attacks, the management at Hero Factory decided it would be good to have a big hero (with the name of Jake Crush) just in case of emergencies, as a final weapon shall everything else go wrong. But the project was never finished. Before the Factory was actually able to add Jake's Hero Core, Von Nebula and his henchbots managed to break into Hero Factory, and stole the brainless robot. After painting it with new colors (to make it look EVIL), Von Nebula created a remote control to use this huge machine. It was then, that what was going to be known as Jake Crush, is now Havoc, Von Nebula's strongest weapon against the forces of good. Topic Link

Name: Cronos Manipulate Time itself! Temporal Rift Detected! Cronos detected in the outskirts of Makuhero city! Whatever this villain is planning, it must be stoped before it's too late. Be careful HERO FACTORY he's armed with his Time-Control Staff and a meteor blaster! Don't run out of time! Abilities · Control Time. · Time Travel. · Time Stop. Weapons · Time-Control Staff · Meteor Launcher Cronos was probably built in the future, but traveled back in order to conquer the world, or help its creator conquer the world. Cronos is an enigmatic character. He was designed in such a way that he likes being a doomsayer (which, for some mysterious reason is always right) and speaks like some kind of prophet. He loves clocks (not the digital ones) and dislikes hot dogs... Topic Link

Hmn... someone should really try making a Von Nebula Hero moc...

I don't know, they don't look so bad... I for one like many bits of the villains... Drilldozer's drill actually rotates, which is good... About the heroes, my only complaint is their heads, really, they ruin the whole thing... I doubt the pieces are just one piece with 2 colors, considering the variety of positions and shapes of the armor... Of it all, the weapons seem to be buildable, which is amazing... Evo's weapon is nice, it's nice to have some trans-spears back, I ain't seen them since Frost from the robo-riders. It seems that the whole idea is not focusing on making accesories be put through technic axles but actually through those system "sticks"... Hence all the round holes on the armor...

Hmn... I'm wondering, does the MOCs have to be exclusively made for this contest? I've got some HF villain mocs around that I even posted on this forum, so I'm wondering if I can use any of them...

(Click the pics for bigger images) Of all the Roboriders the one I liked the most was, is and will always be Swamp. I don't know, I just like his style... Which is why I decided to make him bigger to be able to fit well with nowadays bionicle figures. He's able to pose a wee bit, thanks to the fact his hands are now articulated: I added on his back some kind of rocket/turbine thing, just so he could move faster, He can also move his front part to be able of rotating while moving. And also, I kept the main feature of all roboriders: The wheel launcher. It's fully functional: So yeah, what do you guys think?
-
Midak absolutely... And also, the Tornax, because their pieces are useful for other things and are easily removable... And throwbot's disk launcher hands... don't ask me why...

So yeah... I decided it was about time I made some MOCs for the new theme, these are some new villains... With some backstory! Click the images to see more of each moc. This is Viral. It's a drone created by an evil organization. It was made for propagating the "Villain Virus" all over the world, which turns any robot into an enemy of Hero Factory. The Heroes managed to stop him just in time, without allowing him to turn anyone into a villain, and was then destroyed. But there was a problem... the heroes didn't destroy it's hearth which still contained the Virus. Viral was thrown to the robot disposal center right after the incident... Gear, a service droid for repairing robots who due to some issues was sent to the disposal center, managed to rebuild himself a bit with some of the robot parts in the area. Alone and forgotten, Gear discovered a small destroyed drone trying to move... And soon Viral managed to control Gear. He created the first "Villain Core", which can be found below his chest. A core of similar materials to the Hero Core, but with total opposite functions. Now Gear, under full control of Viral's powers, started building more robots with the pieces found on the disposal center. Oh yeah... he also built a laser gun for himself, just to look more villain like... Gear's first creation wasn't exactly great. It was just some random robot parts smacked together with a green Villain Core. Of course, it's instability allowed his creation to take control of other robot parts as if they were part of its own body. And soon he was named Ruin, the one and only with the ability to control destroyed and ruined robots with the help of his "viral beam" found on his back. A big threat for the heroes indeed. Soon enough Gear's ability to create villains improved. The fact that some robots sent to the disposal center were almost complete helped... Of course, it was about time Gear and Ruin destroyed an incinerator and used it on a new ally. With an orange Villain Core, Volcano was born. Volcano is in fact just a robot-calculator with two incinerators, which makes him a truly calm robot, who doesn't like to waste his energy and prefers thinking things before acting... Of course, when he becomes angry he uses his full power and it's truly dangerous, just like a real Volcano. After the other 3 were created, a hero discovered their operations. His name was Ralph Frost, a hero with more experience than Preston Stormer himself. Thanks to Volcano, they defeated Frost... Viral tried infecting him, and Gear soon added a blue Villain Core to him. Frost turned into "Iceberg", and he kept all his memories as a hero, so he knows how to counter them easily. And thanks to Iceberg, they knew it was not enough with their forces. Gear started building a new body for Viral. Now, Viral is the strongest robot of all, and the greatest Villain Hero Factory ever had to fight against! And now, this group of Villains, due to the fact that most of them were created as Villains and to destroy Hero Factory, are now known as the "Villain Factory"!

About the new silver... It does look interesting... Is it similar to old silver Kanohi? (you know the silver mata kanohi)

Jimi Stinger, I just thing that with such a cool element he could be thousand times better and is the only Hero Helm I dislike...
