Curtsy while you talk, it saves time.
EverettYA replied to EaglesWings's topic in Hello! My name is...
It is possible pig that I will enjoy seeing your MOCS around the forum. EverettYA -
Great job! I love all of the little details like the foliage and the natives ready to ambush the Spanish. It is also a great concept. Keep Bricking.

Oh yes those would work if I used stickers at the bottom... Good idea!! Thank you. I do not have much skill with stickers but I may give it a shot. Oh yes the Zamboni, the most iconic part of hockey, I almost forgot!
-
Yes they do but they are usually in football arenas. Thanks for the idea though. I looked and I can't seem to find any. Do you know the set(s) they came in or better yet the piece number or bricklink link?
-
I do not think this has any special value. Unlike other collectibles such as action figures, coins, or stamps where these sort of things greatly increase the value I think this makes it worth less. Who wants a head with two of the same faces? However, if you believe it has extra value, I would suggest putting it on eBay or Bricklink. Who knows it may be valuable to someone else. EverettYA

I was leaning towards no roof and I think that is the best choice, it also saves money. Yes I have a plan drawn out that includes the team boxes, but no penally boxes because they will not fit.

Awesome redesign Triborough! It is a cool, it is modern and it is chic. Very good indeed. Keep Bricking!

Thanks all of you! I have started designing the area and crowd. However it will be a long time until they are ready, those darned Bricklink orders really take a toll on one's budget. Also, which do you guys think would look better; an arena with a roof or without a roof?

I think they have done something good with this theme. I love the large amount of printed pieces and I would love to see that trend continue. However I feel they overused the printed pieces as many of them can't really be used for most other things. There also seems to be a lot of specialty pieces used to build the cars, and that is a trend I don't like. Just my two sense. EverettYA

Is it set # 924 or 487? EverettYA
-
Yes the collectible minifigure is what started this whole idea. Indeed it can get very violent at times. Do you mean "where does the torso come from?" If so it comes from the set NHL Championship Challenge Yes I am planning to make a whole arena as soon as the budget allows. How did you manage to get the text upside down? EverettYA

Clocks by Coldplay a good calm song for building

Thanks! Yes this will hopefully soon have an arena and more players. It looks like I have my work cut out for me. EverettYA
-
Yes there are twelve players on the ice at a time (5 on each side plus two goalies). I am currently waiting on a Bricklink shipment of parts for more players. Thanks for noticing that though! EverettYA

Thanks, I'll try some hinge plates for the corners. Thanks, The Yellow Brick, I was looking into doing something like that. Again Thank you everyone! EverettYA

Thanks both of you for your comments. KielDaMan yes I do you i'll go and repost those soon. Thanks Fuzzylegobricks, the crowd has yet to come as I am still deciding how I want to do the grandstands. Thanks, EverettYA

I thought that since I start building with real bricks rather than LDD this deserved a new topic, if not moderators feel free to merge the two. The entire rink: Bird's eye view: The Game: The group shot: The corner I am still having problems with: Comments and criticism welcome. EverettYA

MOC: Rapid Transit Underground Train
EverettYA replied to Sheriff von Snottingham's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Hello, That train looks awesome. How many cheese slopes did you use for the top on the train? My favorite part is the doors. Impressive SNOT work. Keep Bricking! EverettYA
