  3. Hello everyone. I am AFOL and come from Croatia, Europe. I like fantasy and sci-fi Lego creations, and my favorite brand is / was Bionicle. I like RPGs and i'm hosting my own currently, the Altharia RPG. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86943 I got my first Lego sets as a preschool, on a detergent promotion, and i liked them alot so parent bought 3 detergents so i could get all 3 sets. I bought a lot of sets since then, mostly Bionicles. My favorite is Brutaka, and i made some Bionicle Transformer MOCs. As i couldn't buy all the bricks i wanted, i became attarcted to LDD, and it is now my primary MOCing medium. I bought a few Mega Bloks sets, and one Duplo set (the large castle, i still like it alot). I like meeting new people with similar interests, playing RPGs and loving Lego.   5. ALTHARIA - LRPG Hello, everyone! This is a post about my LRPG (Lego Roleplaying Game), ALTHARIA. It is set in a medieval fantasy world, with magic and a lush history. If you are very lazy and dont want to read the whole setting and details, just fly over the intro text and get to Character Creation part. I will start the RPG when at least 4-5 people join. Mythology, History and the World of ALTHARIA Not much is known on how the world was created, but rumors have it that in beggining, there existed The Void, empty of any life or order. From it arose the King of Order, Ahura Mazda, and created the 15 Titans, omnipotent gods who's task was to help him with the creation of a world governed by Order. But the eldest and most powerful of the Titans, Ahriman, reebelled against Ahura Mazda himself, deeming himslef the most powerful being in universe. He became known as Ahriman the Lord of Chaos, as he battled the other Titans, who were helpless against his power, Four other Titans fell from their grace and joined Ahriman's demonic ranks, becoming his most loyal commanders, The Chaos Bringers. The battles between demonic and angellic forces were fierce, and they disrupted the creation of the new world. With the last of Ahura Mazda's power, Ahriman was banished into an interdimnesional cage, along with his demons and the Chaos Bringers, but Ahura Mazda and remaining 10 Titans were weakened and forced to go to a 10 000 year sleep. Unfortunately, the Titans didn't notice Ahriman secretly left his own mark on the newborn world, cursing it with plague, fear, evil, terror, chaos, war, hunger and death. To guard the new world, Asuras were born, led by Amon, the God King. These less potent gods relied on the prayers and good deeds of the mortal races they guarded, and they were constantly attacked by the Fiends, led by Seth, who was left as his ambassador by Ahriman. The gods didn't care much for the well-being of individuals, only the race and the world as a whole, and even then their divine interventions were rarer and rarer as ages past. During ages, many lesser deities and demigods were born, like the nature-loving Nymphs or forest-guading Satyrs. They were often mischieveous, and their ideas of guarding the mortals were very differing from the Asura's teachings. Some mortals managed to ascend to godhood, but they were very rare. When they died, most mortals would end up in Aaru, the afterlife which carried mayn diffeent rewards and punishments for the sins and virtues one did in his life. Aaru was governed by the King of Death, Osiris, with the help of Toth the Holy Scribe and Anubis the Heart-Weighter. Races of ALTHARIA 1. Humans One of the least-magical races. their succes comes from tehir versatile talents and sheer craftfulness. They tend to be very chaotic, and some believe they were imbued second to most of all races by Ahriman's curse. However, many humans succesfully battle their chaotic drives and are remembered as benefactors and heroes. - Appearance: Upright walking, with two legs and two arms, and one head. Skin color is yellow, while hair ranges from black, to grey, brown, blonde, and orangey-red. - Skills: Versatile, diplomatic and crafty. Average agility, stamina and strength. Capable of many schools of magic, but experts at none. Proficient with swords, shields and axes. 2. Forest Elves Perfectly attuned with nature and forests, Elves are freinds with all magical beings of the forest. They draw their powers from the lush nature, and prefer solitary life in the woods, isolated from the rest fo the world. However, they are very compassionate, and make excelent friends. - Appearance: Upright walking, with two legs and two arms, and one head. Skin ranges from humanly yellow, to pastel green and pastel blue. Hair ranges from blonde, to brown, blue, green and purple. Ears are pointy and point to sides. - Skills: Understanding of nature and forest. High agility and low strength. Proficient in Life and Arcane magic, and have a druidic heritage. Proficient with bows and staffs (magic or not). 3. Dark Elves More chaotic then their forestly cousins and tainted by Ahriman's curse more than any other race, even humans, they are cold and unreliable. However, they are not all generally evil, and they often fight for good causes, just with wrong ways. - Appearance: Upright walking, with two legs and two arms, and one head. Skin ranges from dark to light gray, and in Forsaken's case, black. Hair is usually white or greyish, although it can be bluish, greenish or even purplish. - Skills: Tainted with darkness and deceitful. High agility and low strength. Proficient in Shadow and Death magic, and have a necromantic heritage. Proficient with bows and staffs (magic or not). 4. Draconians Descended from ancient dragons, they are guardians of ancient runic heritage. Wise and warlike, they are known as legendary warmages of the past. They are warmblooded like all dragons, but prefer hot places like volcanoes for habitats. - Appearance: Upright walking, with two legs and two arms, two draconian wings and one reptilian head. Scales can be any color of the rainbow. WIngs are hidden when not in use. - Skills: Wisdom and runic knowledge. High strength and flying. Proficient in Runic and Fire magic, with a warmage heritage. Proficient with swords. axes and maces, and all runic weapons. 5. Atlanteans The underwater race, named by their kingdom of Atlantea, they have started to emerge to the land from their isolation only recently. They are freinds to the magical beings of sea and all waters, and draw their power from the sea. - Appearance: Upright, with two hands and a fish tail, and one head. Skin ranges from pale blue to pale green, pale purple and blue. Hair ranges from blonde, to grey, white, blue, purple, green, ornage and red. - Skills: Wisdom and understanding of the sea. High agility and low strength. Proficient in Runic and Water magic, with an aquamancer heritage. Proficient with spears and staffs (magic or not). 6. Dwarves Small and stubborn, they have built an enormous kingdom underground. They have a connection to earth and are a very proud race. Legend even has it they were created from stone by the Titans. - Appearance: Short, with two legs and two hands, and one head. Skin is usually yellow, and hair ranges from black to grey, brown, blonde and orangey-red. - Skills: Wisdom and understanding of earth. High strenght and low agility. Proficient in Runic and Earth magic, with a geomancer heritage. Proficient with one- and two-handed maces, and axes. 7. Avians Birdlike and proud, they inhabit tall mounatins and look down on those who cannot fly. They have a connection to the skies and feel best when flying. They are friends to all flying beings. - Appearance: Upright walking, with two hands and two legs, two wings and a birdlike head. Feathers range from white to light blue, light green, light purple and light orange. - Skills: Knowledge and understanding of the skies. High agility and flying. Proficient in Runic and Air magic, with a stormcaller heritage. Proficient with swords, spears and staffs (magical or not). 8. Ogres Ancient race who only recently split from the Orc's control and became a separate nation, they are brutish and warlike. They are easily provoked and not too bright, but they make good warriors with some training. However, they are relaible, and even a bit honorable. - Appearance Upright walking, with two hands and two legs, and one head. Skin ranges from green to orange and pale blue. Males are hairless, while females have black or brown hair. - Skills: War training and brutality. Hugh strenghth and low agility. Proficient in Runic and Dark magic, with berserker heritage. Proficient with one- and two-handed maces, and axes. Classes of ALTHARIA: 1. Warrior Brutal and powerful, warriors fight with melee weapons like maces, swords, shields, spears and axes. They have high strenghth, but usually lower speed, and are proficient with plate armor. Ogric and Orcish warriors are called berserkers. 2. Mage Wise and intelligent, mages fight with elemental and arcane magic, using only staffs, wands and amulets as channels. They have high intelligence, but usually lower strength, and are proficient with cloth armor. They have names considering elemental schools they specialize in (aquamancer - Water, but druid - Life). 3. Rogue Intelligent and fast, rangers fight primarily with bows and daggers, rarerly utilizing other melee weapons. They have high speed, but usually lower strength, and are proficient with leather armor. Forest Elf rangers are called forest-wardens, while Dark Elf rangers are called assasins. 4. Priest Wise and spiritual, priests fight with holy life magic, using magic staffs and other holy instruments. They have high intelligence, but usually lower strength, and are proficient with cloth armor. 5. Hybrids Warrior + Mage = Warmage (Shaman for Ogres) Warrior + Priest = Paladin Warrior + Rogue = Dragoon Mage + Rogue = Illusionist How to sign up for ALTHARIA Make a character in LDD (Universe) using the racial apperance as a guide and give him a weapon to hold. Please, give your character basic-looking armor, not something fancy, because you are only a Level 1 at the beginning. Warriors start with leather, everyone else with cloth armor, although accesories (like plate shoulders) are allowed. Give link for the LDD file too. I will take a look at your character, and let you play or show you where you went wrong.
