In anycase, they have released some terrible news. The Empire has built a large, destructive weapon. On account of Veer's report, I suspect that this large weapon is what attacked you, or ships from it. The name of the space station is a little hard to understand, but here is the message: ksssh...We've....some infor...tion...of a...spa.e.....ation. The name....app..rs.....to be....D..ath...S...ar...The we...on...is very....destructive. We cannot con....ude...its force....but it is to be notioned....carefully. That's all that we...re..ort....kssssh. From what I make out of it, the name is 'Death Star'.

This seems like an inflation of contest ideas *wacko* . Too much for me to handle. Though, I think sequels to past time contest should not become so. I want to see something never done before, that developes a theme that hasn't been done before, and is open to great, great entries. :-)

But that doesn't mean that George Lucas just thought of something and let Koepp go with it. I think that the story is written, then the screenwriter adapts it to a script, making changes as well. I'm not entirely sure how it goes, but that is my guess.
