  1. Thanks Ranger Viper - I'll go take a look. I wonder why the 'clockworks' would be in historical? I'll really have to try and find those! Cheers! Larry
  2. You hit it right on the head Cutlass Iz!! All of the items I mention fall within the time period SP seems to cover. As for me...I will keep plugging along and see what I can come up with in that time period / genre. Speaking of SP...since I'm new to this forum and all, and have just mainly been reading what I can, what section would a person find Steampunk? I would assume it'd be in the historical section - is this correct? Cheers!
  3. One can still dream.....
  4. I hope those 16 Collectible Minifigs will be available here in the USA!! I saw several I'd like to have. Does anyone know if the Caveman figure is part of an existing set? Cheers! Larry
  5. Hello fellow brickheads! I was just sitting here having my first cup of jo, checking e-mails and listening to the news. Then, a commercial for the new Sherlock Holmes movie came on. First thing that popped into my head was "WOW - think of all the possibilities this could provided for a new theme set of LEGO!!". These sets could tie into so many other sets out there not to mention the popularity of Steampunk as well. I wonder if those at LEGO know how HUGE the market would be to the Steampunk community that had never really looked into that genre. Can you imagine the tie ins that could then go into Jules Verne type sets - 'A Journey to the Centre of the Earth', 'Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea', 'Around the World in Eighty Days' and 'The Mysterious Island' to name just a few?! you have all those fancy sets like the 'Market Street', 'Café Corner' and 'Green Grocer' that easily adapt to the whole Victorian theme - not to mention la Tour Eiffel!! What do you all think? Anyone know if LEGO is even looking into it? Moderators - if I have placed this in the wrong section PLEASE feel free to move it. I'm still learning my way around this excellent site! Yours in bricks, Larry
  6. SWEET! Thanks for sharing all of this. I did find the building instructions for the platform, station, and trees but can't seem to find the ones for the train? Is there a separate link? Thanks! Larry
  7. Thank you Bonaparte (who is one of my all time favorite historical figures)!
  8. Sorry for helping revive an old thread, but I stumbled acroos this one and joined Eurobricks just so I could respond!! I thought this was a real set as well and have been trying to locate it - or at least the building instructions. That being said...do you have building instructions for the train engine? Is it registered with LEGO Digital Designer by any chance?
