  1. Jestro has summoned another monster...Sootvius!! He arrives in style with his fire chariot pulled by Slagus. http://www.brickshel...10_55_03_am.jpg http://www.brickshel...10_57_17_am.jpg http://www.brickshel...10_57_53_am.jpg

  3. This weekend when I get snowed in I will provide better pics for any advise you all want to provide....
  4. Thanks for the comments. Here is a front view. I kept the build so it can attach to the Fortrex. Unfortunately I won't have that set until next month to see how it all goes together. Still tweaking....
  5. The Library just looked too small. This is still a WIP but seemed like it needed another floor. Hopefully I will get to continue it tonight. Better pics to come later today.
  6. Wanted to give 31004 Fierce Flyer the green treatment since is saw the set...but time didn't allow. The Mini Eagle is the next best thing.
  7. Nice town setup. I gave a try at streets for the mini modulars using a modular system. If you take a look please scroll down to the later photos. First attempt was flawed. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=65808#entry1193871
  8. Picked up the Jet Chopper encounter on clearence at Target. Used the stock cockpit and missle pods to create a heavy jet fighter instead of the chopper. Used only parts from this set which worked well. Few simple tweaks and there you have it.
  9. Good suggestions thank you. Would love to mesh the two together for the SPIII look, just haven't found the time. Across the street I have the squid mans pit stop where I raised it up and made a gang hangout underneath. Big plans and little time.
  10. This is my current WIP. Trying for a 4'x4' set up with Space police III and Exo-force. I set up the SPIII HQ with the City Police HQ. The Exo-Force is at the rear.
  11. To Vincent: I did place a 2x6 plate under each building to give just enough height to clear the streets. To Brick Box: I agree the motorcycle is more of a Tron light cycle. This is my first attempt at anything like this. Micro or city. Next step will be to design my own buildings.
  12. You had me worried there for a second.
  13. Sorry and corrected.
  14. Added a little park. Since I kept the streets modular like the buildings making adding and expanding is very easy. Hope they make the new modulars into minis. Its a little hard to see but Im using the extra rope in the Mini Modulars as the border. I like how the fountain turned out. It provided a nice break and some "green" space to the street scape.
  15. I have added some detailing and moving parts to the Firetruck. Added some more color details as well.
  16. Good thought with the Tower cars. The street definitely needs to be three wide. This was just a test run.
  17. V-ML-1A **additional UPDATE PHOTOS in BELOW POSTS** Comments welcome. I wanted to add to the stock Mini Modular set, so I tried making mini scale cars with some street. First time ever to do something like this (Sean Kenney's work help inspired the cars.) This is the start to a greater plan in my head. I think the cars are the right scale for the minis. The plan is to make the street wider and create a larger scene with my own future mini mod creations. Thanks for lookings
  18. I put together the Mobile HQ sub last night....It is AWESOME. (holding off on the other two set til LEGO sotre gets them in so I can rack up VIP points) The "transformation" works quite well. Wish there were more Manta warriors but hey that what the impluse sets are for. I accidently picked up (2) additional diver collectable minifig which have now been asigned to the crew of the sub. Sub is solid and bigger then expected. Lots of windows. THe HQ when on the base seems small tho. All and all a great buy. Can't wait to add this to the rest of the atlantis set.
  19. I was going to build the Limo first however the Undercover cruzer was already opened (tape was on the inside flap. Good news is nothing was missing. Build took one episode of X-files season 1. So about 45 minutes, probly quicker if you arent watching tv. The villan is impressive for its size. The cruzer is front heavy but well designed with the transformation gimmick. My only crit is it's a big ship with an itty bitty cock pit with no controls or detail. The minifig just lies in there. Jawson's speeder More heft and firepower then some previous villan crafts. SPIII Cruzer. Most of the part are in the front. Almost feel like its a chariot...horses pulling the cart/engines pulling the cockpit. Cargo Ship Looks more solid. the void under the Cruzer when transformed to the cargo ship. The Extras: on a side note: can someone explain the frog that comes with the SPIII base? Seriously I do not get it.
  20. Tonight should be a good night for me. SPIII Base, Limo and Undercover cruzer are being delivered tonight....What to build first? Looking forward to finding all the little details you can only find by having the product in hand and out of box. Atlantis Mobile HQ should arrive tonight too, but that can wait.
  21. all three are bought here too. i ordered the atlantis hq earlier this week. bless TRU for summer in may. can not wait til they arrive. now i can mod my city police station to go with SPIII HQ!!! big lego week this week. lego universe pre order tomorrow too
  22. Had a snow day so I took a shot at the my first MOC's in this theme. I liked the back story as well. First up is the Empires elite fighter. Mainly red and black to stand out from the rest of the fleet. Small and fast this fighter is one that protects the empress's personally. The pilots dedication to duty is so great that if too damaged to make it back to home base they crash into any viable rebel target with its nose designed to do great damage. Binaculars on the windshild for long range viewing, 2 wing guns and side mounted machine gun for added fire power. On the rebel side a mobile battle platform/transport was created. Used to move supplies, men or ammo this flyer is ready for action. Twin guns on the nose for the pilot to defend himself. Machine guns on each side to repel enemy fighters. Powered by 4 props underneath and one large prop in the rear. With multipule uses (transport men to the front, wounded to the rear, much needed supplies to rebel positions) I see this as a real work horse for th rebels. Like I said before these two are my first so comments welcome.
  23. Once Brickset put up the instructions for the promo sub I went to Bricklink and got the parts. It is a good addition to the vehicles in the line. I use it for little journeys from the carrier.
  24. Thanks Chris!!!! Here it goes. the Lil' Mule. Fast. Mobile. I think this worked out well. Little Budda. SPIII Rapid responce transporter Armor Divsion. Still needs some offensive capibilities. I have not forgotten about the Blackhole gang. They get a new Space pickup truck retro fitted to hold a stolen SP missle launcher in the bed. The misssle launcher can be rasied and lowered on unsuspecting transports. Also added a cargo hold on the bottom to hold the loot with a front raising door. I have been building legos for years but this is the first time in along time for me to create my own from scratch. Usually just tweak offical sets here and there. Please let me know what you think This one I call NightCap. Low flying silent figher. Mainly used to take out ground target. also used for Infintry support and the like. Comment away....this is the first of many now that I have the space and time. Again Thanks Chris!!!
  25. Been tooling around with SPIII sets 5971 (gold heist) and (2) 5972 (space trucker) These three moc's were made 90% from the sets mentioned from above. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4307949 I call this only the mule. The work horse of the SPIII fleet. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4307970 This is an undercover drop ship for the SPIII officers http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4307997 Frenzy's space pickup truck with stolen spIII missle launcher in the bed. Sorry do not know how to shrink my photos.
