  1. Updated the main post (I'm very sorry for bumping this topic again).
  2. Sorry to reply to this post, but since vessels are prohibited from posting in the Buy, Sell and Trade section of the forum this was the only option for me.
  3. I'm not in financial trouble, but i'm not that much into lego anymore. It's been fun making these models but unfortunatly they only take up space, that's mostly why i wanted to sell these 2 models. I haven't gotten any offers yet, so they'll probably stay in my possesion for a while. Anyone who is interested can make me an offer if they want!
  4. Sorry for the big bump, but i put them on bricklink as custom sets with some advice. Click the link if you want to see them: Bricklink Store The prices i'm asking are pretty much how much they costed me, i'm selling them mostly because i need more space at home now.
  5. The biggest reason why it might not sell at the price is because the theme isn't very populair in lego, like starwars for an instance. But with prices like 231 euros. It would make it more profitable if i would sell everything to a seller on bricklink, but selling everything as a mixed lot generally would give me a big loss, as you'll usually only find standard small (common) parts in these kinds of lots. I'm not aiming for a profit, just wondering what people would offer. The problem is that this varies greatly. If i would buy an indiana jones custom MOC, while only buying it for the parts, i wouldn't bid that much. While if i would be a fan of the franchise and be interested in it, i would probably pay a nice amount of money for it. The costs of the Halberd were around 500 euros, so if there wouldn't be any significant offers, i would most likely store the parts away. I do have the digital instructions, so i still can rebuild it any time if i like.
  6. Thank you for you're reply, The exchange rate between euro and dollar is pretty diffrent, 300 dollars would only be 231 euros. Which is less than half of what the big ship costed me. Most parts were aquired through bricklink at pretty nice rates. Also, the ship contains about 1100 purple parts alone, which go by a higher price usually. I wouldn't sell the Halberd for any less than 500 euros, the material costs would come pretty close to this number (since the ship contains large amount of big parts (like 2x10 bricks).
  7. I've builded 2 big MOC's in the past, and i'm looking to sell them right now. The 2 MOC's are my lego great fox and lego battleship halberd, here are some details of both custom creations: The Lego Battleship Halberd: - 145 cm long. - ~5000 parts (doesn't include extra parts mentioned below). - set comes with a decent amount of parts for extra inside/outside support if needed. - Also includes digital instructions for Lego Digital Designer. The Lego Great Fox: - 33 cm long. - ~400 parts. - Also includes digital instructions for Lego Digital Designer. UPDATE: 19 jun 2012 I've decided to sell both these Lego models for a combined price of 280 euros (bulk price) if anybody wants to buy it, please send a message or make a post, this lot includes a large amount of rare and large Lego parts. The reason for me selling these Lego models for a relatively cheap price is that I simply want to get rid of the Lego to pursue other hobbies. I'm also sorry for the multiple bumps, since I have still not reached the 100 posts I need to create a new topic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6FkuntlkT8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI22JkuZaPc&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  8. Metaknight is currently the only one, and i built him from a instructional video. Pretty neat what you can sometimes find on the internet .
  9. Thanks for all the comments ! Didn't know that alot of people actually knew about the ship.
  10. Hello, i just finished my new battleship, the Great Fox, it's a ship that appears in a few diffrent games, the main reason i built it, is because it fights against the Battleship Halberd in Super Smash Bros Brawl. So now i have both major battleships from the game . Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6FkuntlkT8 If you'd want to see the ''real'' thing, typ Great Fox in google. Since most of you probably don't recognize the ship .
  11. I myself voted for dark purple tiles, they would come in handy with some things. And it adds some more new colours to the pallete .
  12. I really wanted the ship to look like it's made from lego, but also add enough details that actually looked realistic, which was achieved by using some SNOT techniques. I've made a comparison photo of the real ship and my lego model, this is the fighting stage of the ship:
  13. I also ordered alot of bricks and with me it was the same case, i got the magnet spaceman within 2 days in a big box but the actual package came a few days later. Quite funny actually .
  14. Thanks for the comments, i've made a video showing more pictures, watch it in HQ to hear music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI22JkuZaPc
  15. The ship contains at least 5000 parts, which is pretty cost efficient. I'm not sure about the weight though, the inside of the halberd is pretty much full of bricks to support the top weight which also makes me wonder how many parts i actually used, since i used tons and tons of spare parts for the inside. The pillars are almost unmoveable on which the ship stands. I'm assuming about 7/8 kilos? Really hard to tell. The ship all in all still costed me 500 euros (600 dollars)probably due to the large amount of large bricks i used. Which were pretty expensive.
  16. Thanks, the metaknight wasn't made by me, but i got it from a youtube video from spartandara117 . And the link is actually snake haha .
  17. It's on the Mocpages page, it wasn't shooted at the right angle though because my camera was very low on battery power. I'll upload a picture in a few min.
  18. Thanks, and the pictures are added now .
  19. It's finnaly finished . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI22JkuZaPc After building this thing for so long it´s finally finished, I started making plans for building this battleship almost a year ago. The Halberd is a battleship that is from the Kirby franchise. It´s owned by metaknight and had a complete redesign in Super Smash Brothers Brawl (a populair fighting game). The ship i made is from Smash Bros Brawl. The ship itself is about 150 cm long and contains alot of details, it also uses a large amount of purple lego bricks (which are all real lego bricks, no painted ones) which are about 1100 purple parts in total. I wanted to make this ship look like lego (by building pretty blocky) but also give it alot of details, which makes a very nice combination for me. Underneath the ship there are also details but i couldn't take a photo of them because my camera was too big... In smash brothers (the fighting game), the characters usually fight on the bridge of the ship Mocpages page
  20. Amazing build, truely a masterpiece!
  21. First of all, if any mod reads this please lock my other topic in the sci-fi forum, i didn't know i could post it here, sorry. I just finished the trailer for my Battle of Bricks lego movie. It's mostly a video about 2 battleships from the Nintendo franchise battling each other (as seen : )I'm still working on both battleships and they will be finished in a month so i used digital footage to make the trailer. Click here to see how far i am on building the halberd. The final video will also feature a small fight scene on the birdge of the halberd. So enjoy the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfdNHgL4-rc I also made a movie poster for fun
  22. Yes, but it's not so hard to do it with stop motion by taking screenshots within lego digital designer. I made a new video btw, the old one lacked some footage, the new trailer has a very nice scene in it. New trailer footage
  23. Hello, i've been working on this stop motion project for a while and i've just released a trailer of it. It's called Battle of Bricks. This project involves two battleships that battle against each other. These two battleships are both from video games. The Halberd from SmashBrothersBrawl/Kirby franchise. The Great Fox from the Starfox franchise. The trailer itself isn't really long since i'm still working on both models and it's hard to work with digital models. (the halberd currently: Mocpages page) The final video with be using mixed footage of from both digital and the real models (although mostly footage from the real models). Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfdNHgL4-rc I also made this for fun:
