Vader

Well as we dont have it yet (curse you lego) ill have to reserve judgement, but from what ive seen it looks very good. :)

Gotta agree the xwing was pointless, ok the colors a little better but the hut was poor, i love the new snowspeeder and of course the falcon was IMO a massive improvement (apart from the fact that han & chewie still cant sit beside each other).

Okay, well lets try to get back on topic (or at least close to it ;) ). Alot of people have said that the re-releses caused lego to have a bad year (myself included), but what i would like to know is what do people feel about the re-releses i.e do you feel that they improved the sets or were you happy with the orignal sets???

I dont understand what the logic would be for lego to give us a vader with a normal tie, unless it also comes with a tie pilot then that make a bit more sense :(

Welcome to the boards Saydest, ive have read quite a few of your posts over at fbtb and i think that you will indeed fit in nicely around here :)

Pixars record for films is fantastic, ive never seen one that i didnt enjoy. I just wonder what will happen when they split from disney soon. :) Best part for me had to be when the ice dude couldnt find his suit due to his wife moving it, i had to nudge my girlfriend during that part as shes always moving my stuff to somewhere safe but when i ask where she can never remember. :(

Gotta go with the late 80s early 90s too, i still remember seeing the ghost minfig, rodin hood, large castles etc for the first time. Up until then all i ever had was city sets and seeing all these new products really boosted my love for lego. 2005 is shaping up to being a great year for lego and it already looks better than the few years sets, but im not sure that we will ever see another age as good as then, but i sure hope so ;)

What i like about the scorpion it is that lego have given us a set that can be easly modified to become say a space ship or a sub etc. Their is also alot of good parts and new coloured parts in the mecca set , but i believe that most people will buy the mecca as a parts set. Gotta say again i really like the new color scheme for the drone, the dark red hands in particular.

I loved the first sets like i said before, when they first came out the were different and yet still had a place IMO in a regular city as a special crime unit. But now they are taking them too sci fi, dont get me wrong i like the sets but i wish they would return to doing more like the first sets.

Gotta go with the pit stop one too, but they might of made some slight alterations to it to make it a little smaller.
