  1. I just used the pictures in the 6000 book and the back of the 375 box, i know they are not exactly the same but for my childhood memories it is perfect. The 6000 book gives most angles of the castles but the 375 castles is just a guess
  2. Here is my collection of yellow castle lego. Ever since i was a kid i always wanted the 1970's castle lego. about 5 years ago i purchased a bulk lot off Ebay that had most of the hard to find pieces for the 375 kit. So i decided to rebuild it like new, i used all new bricks where i could, reprinted all the stickers . Since i finished the 375 kit i found some cheap 383 & 677 kits, lucky both were like brand new. After completing the set i started with the 6000 ideas book. and after i finished i still had a few yellow bricks left so i made one of the alternate castles on the 375 box.
  3. Nice thread, I went through the same process a few years back. I picked up most of the bricks in a large lot of lego so i had all the hard to find bricks, and i purchased brand new bricks where i could. the castle turned out really nice. I also had a problem with the original stickers so i scanned in the old ones and redrew them in Illustrator. Once i had finshed the 375 set, I started on making the castles from the 6000 ideas book. below are the photos i have of the smaller castle About a year after that set i finished the big castle, i have not taken any photos of it yet, if i get around to it i will post them up here. I had always wanted the 375 set and i must have studied the 6000 book for years as a young child. It is really rewarding to have something that you wanted so much as a kid.
